They will never perform together again. They don't want to tarnish the memory of their performances with a clip of 4 old people shuffling across the stage. ABBA is and should remain an image of youthful love of life and melody. It is the memory and , thank God, the clips that we should cherish.
Agreed. They were a much beloved band but even though we love to be nostalgic, they should be remembered as the amazing band they were then. Would anyone want to see a 65 year old Muhammed Ali in the ring? No, probably not.
And that sir , is the bottom line ...... they are much older now, but their standards remain so high that they just know they could never equal their incredible Abba days again..

You have no idea how much it means to me to see you all back together. I use to watch my mom and dad, dancing to your songs when I was a little boy. They have since past, but when I hear your songs, it brings back such wonderful memories. AND, I play in a classic rock band, and we play Does Your Mother Know, and we sound pretty damn good doing it. Again, please keep going, I love you all!

И своих свежих талантов на сцене не увидишь, и не услышишь, и прежней отличной зарубежки нет.

Я хоть и родился в 85, уже даже после того как они фактически распались. Но на работе у мамы в 90х часто включали по пятницам АББУ, Квин и прочих мэтров той эпохи. Я не мог не полюбить эту музыку. И до сих пор всегда рад слышать. Великолепная и неподражаемая группа !
И ушли в общем-то красиво. Не стали пользоваться популярностью и выжимать из "проекта" все соки ради денег.
Я тоже прослезилась, мурашки по коже.Какое счастье , что они живы все и мне посчастливолось их увидеть вместе.
