I enjoy your series very much. I just started collecting FoW and as there is no one close by to play, these series give me a good feel of the game. Thanks and keep it up!
as a new player getting into flames of war im thinking either Americans or Brits tank company and was definitely looking at adding artillery to it for the added support this video was a huge help keep up the awesome vids
My Grandfather was in the 8th - North Africa, Sicily, Italy ... he was apparently a RA gunner, and fired 25-pounders, according to my Dad ... He apparently never talked about his time served very much ... Looking forward to getting round to looking at the self-propelled artillery - the Sextons, Bishop, Priests and so on ...
Same with my Great-Uncle. 44 Royal Tank Regt. Fought with the 8th through N.Africa, Egypt, Sicily, Normandy and was later killed near Belgium, Sept 1944. Had several others in the 8th, too. My Great-Grandad was in the RA. Believe somewhere near the Suez Canal.
Keep the Flames of War coming. I am playing my first game at GenCon and appreciate all the detailed content. Would love to get my hands on some Flames of War bits.
I’m new to FoW but just caught BF’s 2019 roadmap announcement and it looks like there will be more FoW content from BoW (obviously 4th ed). No idea if they’ll go over the same content again.
Freaking awesome!!! We have more FoW FTW! And yeah, arty feels a little cheap, like an easy winning mechanic that involves more luck than skill. Of course the table and the mission has a big effect and, as pointed out in the first video, its always the opponents' skills that determine any game.
that guy in the beginning that fears the Second Infantry army.. does he mean the Granadier second army? I dont get it I dont see how nasty they can be :S ?
my own personal experience with arty is when it works it can be a game winner, but if it doesn't work it can screw u, I play 21st panzerdivision lw, btw
also germans have some nasty 128mm "arty" ..... more like a super heavy at gun 48 in range direct fire, AT 14, I do believe.....just off the top of my head
as an old player these videos have been invaluable to help my mates get in to the hobby and brushing up on rules myself, thanks
I'm new to Flames of War and you guys keep me inspired with these videos, please keep them coming :D

Been thinking of trying Flames of War. Good video guys.

Seems like it might be prudent to have both mortars and arty.... i look forward to the smoke vid. Thanks for the info!
This series is too good! Gets me wanting to play FoW even though theres no one in my area that plays!
As always the terrain is just top notch.

Good video.

Awesome Video as per usual!!! Thanks!
Always fun to watch.
I really like this videos, they are very helpful for beginners like me.
On a serious question what would you say is the pros and cons of (SP) arty againt static or towed arty?
How does multiple artillery guns effect bombardments? Such as taking 2 15cm guns instead of 4?
That adds an entire dimension to things.
I was told there was an early war Dutch army briefing out there, but i can't find it...
Any suggestions?

No, he means the US 2nd Infantry division. In tournaments you will encounter battles that are allies vs allies and axis vs axis.
