Open fire box plz.... lol I figure its too late but its still worth a shot, ps I would LOVE to see more battles with you too I LOVE both of you and Dave knows how to look fancy!!!
I am trying to find the finest way to start flames of war. I have no flames of war. I want to start my army and getting this starter set would really help! Thanks for the video, I am looking forward to season 2!
I really enjoy season 1 and I'm glad to see it return. It has inspire me to try something similar with a friend and BattleTech. I'm interested in hearing Warren's thoughts on other tanks in the German army like the Panzer IVs and Panthers.
Got into Flames of War about a year ago - since then my collection has expanded to include the US 101st Airborne, the British Guards Armoured Squadron, a Soviet Tankovy Batalon (T-34 horde!), and a German Grenadierkompanie; not to mention my ANZAC Tank Squadron! Currently trying to get my friends into it - a certain starter kit might help convince them (hint hint) ;)
During a game over the weekend I attempted to use my three Pumas recon team to remove a gone to ground from a large American infantry platoon spread out in the woods over a 16" area. I could easily see some but not all of the unit. Does the entire unit loose it's gone to ground even though I cannot see everyone in the wood?
Same reason you choose a purple top over an orange one. That's not me being feisty with you so don't take it the wrong way but give the game a chance. Yes they are both good in their own way ;0)
1. FoW's been around a hell of a lot longer than BA, and already had a massive following when BA was released ... 2. FoW's designed to be played with company-sized armies, rather than platoon sized ones, as BA - therefore you're looking at much bigger armies/battles by design, especially when you take into consideration the smaller scale, meaning you can fit a shed-load more onto your table. 3. For the same reason you'd ever play Bolt Action when there's 40k, or any other number of games, WWII or otherwise, out there ... it's personal preference ... :-)
I plan on playing both!! Bolt Action is a bit simpler and a bit quicker to play, but still buckets of fun. Platoon level vs Company level, so scope is important Bolt Action rules need a bit more polishing, first edition rules have some glaring oversights. FOW is on version 3 now, its an old hand... and pretty awesome.
welcome back I was starting to lose all hope nice to see Dave back

I've found myself enjoying painting 15mm infantry for FoW. You can turn each base into a minidiorama! It's a great plus to smaller scale wargames.
Nice Video - it`s great to see FOWFTW back again!
It wasn't until you started FTW that I got interested in FoW. Good job guys!
You guys should do some more coverage on the Open Fire! box, as in more videos and unboxings and stuff.

This is a bit late, but it would remove it for the whole platoon.
