Interesting video (researching sniper rules from games to create a set for Seven Days to the River Rhine). What I find interesting is the posed nature of the photos (fairly logically) where the snpers are breaking many rules of sniping (in particular the rookie error of pushing the muzzle out of the window).
Glad you found it helpful. Yes, the images looked posed - but then you wouldn't find me following a sniper about in a combat zone just to snap a few pics! Good luck with your research.
I made this video to help me understand how snipers worked after i saw them used to good effect in a tournament. I haven't used them myself. Good for pinning in v3 - we'll have to see how they work in v4.

I love Snipers and I should run them more but I can't tell you how often I forget to deploy them once the game starts lol.

Are there rules for snipers in 4th edition?
Hmmm. I haven't looked. Let me get back to you...
@@FogofWar thank you
Well done explanations
Glad you liked it.
Well done thanks
This is an older video. Version 4 rules may vary.
They should add the rule if a sniper is within say 8 inches of a command tank the sniper can take the Commander out.
Narcedau that’s way to sensible of a rule for FoW . Good home brew rule though , I may give it a go.
