I worked as a hairstylist back in the late 1980s. We had a client come in who wanted a haircut. She said she was in a hurry because her babywas in the car. We say "you're welcome to bring your baby in." She said she didn't want to bring the baby in because she was afraid of exposing the baby to the chemical fumes. We told her we couldn't allow her to leave the baby in the while cutting her hair. So bring baby in or leave.

I was a paramedic for 10 years and one day we were called to the scene of a child who was about 10 months to a year old was left in his car seat in a very hot car while mom was eating in Subway. The child was sweating profusely and was red all over from the heat and even had a terrible diaper rash. There was cigarette ashes all over the car seat and baby. We took the baby to the local ER where the child’s grandmother met us there. She said she planned on taking her daughter to court and was suing for custody of the child. She was very angry.
We even found a baby in a car alone once when we were going back to the county after dropping off a patient. Thankfully it wasn’t a hot day out and we called police. On one other occasion we found a toddler wearing only a diaper was wandering outside by a major road that was 3 or 4 lanes in each direction. Apparently the toddler was able to open the door and get outside. The parents were at home sleeping and didn’t realize that their child had gotten out. We were not in our county at the time so we contacted police and EMS of that county.
If you decide to have children then you agree to taking care of them and being a parent. Their needs come first before your own.
My husband works for RPS and his greatest fear is to have to go to a call where children are involved. We have little boys so it would be traumatizing to say the.least

I imagined myself coming to an accident where it involved an infant or child and by me being a mother, I instantly lost control. And I know that in these situations, they didn’t need anyone who was gonna panic; they needed someone who could help without hesitation. Now I’m not saying that I would panic if I were to come up on an accident, but I just knew that on that day, my nerves were already bothering me and it wasn’t a good idea for this to be my profession. I admire the strength and courage of our first responders because they definitely have tough jobs.
I'm a male, and all I ever wanted was a wife and kids. I never got that. It just tears me up that a mother could be so negligent. I wouldn't leave a pet in those conditions. Some people don't deserve to be parents. or animal owners. This is disgusting to me.

These are Monster’s not moms. I’ve witnessed so many of these moms who are angry and hate fueled. They’re cursing and yelling at their toddler’s in public places because they can’t possibly control them all. No dads in sight. Why would you continue to have children? Take note. During all the stories, I didn’t see/hear any of the parents ask about the health/safety of their children while being detained. Only cared about how to get out of trouble.

The Constitution of the United States of America has given that each parent and an Unalienable Right to the care custody and companionship of their child. This is in the inalienable rights clause of the Constitution. So, before a child can be removed the State has a responsibility to protect that right only, removing the child when the parent has put the child in repeated risk after being educated via a case plan.
This is because a child is given to people by God and should not be severed without due process. (Speaking from experience) If a State doesn't do this then they can just start taking children away from the parent for smallest mistakes.

The final one should've been arrested just like the other moms. If they would stop giving people a break for this, there'd be a lot less kids left in hot cars and/or kidnapped!! It needs to be treated as a serious offense EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS!!
Don't explain to her that locked cars get hot when sitting in the sun in summertime. Just sit her in there and let her sit for about 15 minutes and let her figure it out all by herself. This is presupposing that she doesn't remember what it is like when you first get in a hot car and you nearly cook until you can get some air flowing. How could she forget that? It really is true that some people should absolutely NOT be allowed to have children.
Kayla got off easy for risking her child’s life. The $330.00 fine was a joke of a fine. The fine should have been thousands of dollars and she should have gone to jail like the other two moms.

Y’know that waft of thick, hot air that comes out at you when you open the car door on a hot sunny summer day and it just smacks you across the face like: ‘BAM!’. Imagine having to *sit* in that for *hours*. Slowly running out of oxygen within the vehicle and suffocating with no way out and being a kid, they don’t know what to do, they’re probably out their minds panicking, no food, no water, no fresh air, alone, don’t know where mom is, who *wouldn’t* freak out?! It’s literally human instinct. Poor babies… They’re mom is just straight up negligent… They deserve better.
The laws for this aren't strict enough, we're talking about babies that would die in the FU*KING HOT CAR they need to be arrested not fined

Idk, it seems like this generation is doomed with or without parents like these. It’s like one kid gets an idea in their head and then puts it on social media and it just spreads all around. The internet has had a major influence on these kids to where the parents can’t handle them. With all of these social media platforms, they get the support they want and then think it’s ok, but the support they’re getting is coming from kids also and some of it’s coming from young parents who don’t know anything about parenting. The internet has had some benefits with it, but for the most part, it’s given children too much space and opportunities to grow up much faster than they should. Kids are acting as if they’re the adults in the homes and the parents are losing their control.

I live in Australia, one day I wanted to see how bad it would be to be trapped inside a car.
I barely lasted 10 minutes before I felt like I was going to pass out from the heat and lack of oxygen.
ANY parent who leaves a child in a car like this should immediately be in jail. They wouldn’t survive that amount of time in a hot car so how dare they subject their children to such suffering.

The Tamesha incident: I gave blood for years and I was never in there for more than about 15 - 20 minutes including the time I had to spend "making sure I was recovered enough" so why the hell does it take 3-4 hours to donate? Her daughter had a "burnt arm" which was never checked by Professionals. I'm willing to bet that this is most definitely NOT THE FIRST TIME - ONLY THE FIRST TIME SHE'S BEEN CAUGHT OUT. Oh dear, how sad, she was only doing the "crocodile tears" once CPS was mentioned. I see that the results of this situation was NOTHING TO DO WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT - IN FACT IT WAS A MONTH PROGRAM FOR DRUGS.

This happens often. Last time it was 4 months ago were I go to "donate." Parents sell to provide but are not able to leave kids with anyone or afford daycare. Vicious vicious cycle.

I actually called the cops on a woman who left her newborn alone in her car. It wasn't even hot outside but that doesn't matter! Anyone who leaves their children alone in a car whether its hot outside or not has no business being parents. Her excuse was " I Only Ran In The Store For 5 Minutes and my response was, " It takes only seconds for someone to steal a child"! I was fuming and thankfully by then, the cops just pulled up because I was seconds from smacking her in her face!! I'm not a violent person and as a matter of fact I'm a registered nurse and work in a hospital but that day my blood was literally boiling. Where do these individuals get their brains from I'll never know.

We had a lady in my hometown who I actually went to school with that had left her baby boy in a hot car and he had to be taken to the hospital because of his breathing difficulties due to the heat. The fact that she had done this to her baby infuriated me also, but the other factor was that she wasn’t even charged with anything because her dad was a well known doctor in our area. The justice system is so corrupt that it’s no wonder people want to take justice into their own hands. It’s all in who you know.

I will never forget this as long as I live. I was working as a medical technician at a university hospital. I worked under 42 practitioners. One of the doctors was going through a divorce,He Left children in the car and came to work. two of the younger children passed away and one was in critical condition. I remember this like it was yesterday. He was the nicest doctor I believe to this day he is still in jail. He didn’t want his wife taken away his children it was just devastating. How does the last woman get a ticket while the previous one gets jailed for doing the same thing? Honestly, all police need to be on the same page for the safety of society. That way one group doesn’t feel more entitled than any other.

The car was on and so was the AC, she left the car unlocked which is the child endangerment ticket. Also different states have different laws.

This happens all the time in Phoenix which is one of the hottest places in the country. It happens to both children and animals, and I’ve never understand how people can be so thoughtless, heartless, and cruel.

Tragic when a distracted accidentally leaves a kid in the car. Downtight criminal to do it deliberately. Tamisha's blase attitude toward leaving her kids out there is incredible. And one has a broken arm?!?! Did CPS take those kids? Will probably save their lives.
Not that it is much better, but the child had a BURNED armed… The audio was incorrect.

Me too. I was a young mom in the 80's and I never left my children in the car for any excuse. They came with me or I didn't leave the car myself. Period.

The girl whom the narrator said had broken her arm was wrong - she said she burnt her arm. It was bandaged, not in plaster. The subtitles say she burnt her arm. Then the stupid mother put ointment on it which is the worst thing to do. Cold running water was what she needed. The body cam says 11:23 so they were there from 7:30 - 4 hours!
Any parent that leaves a minor child in the car regardless of the time should be arrested.
An ambulance should immediately be called to these scenes. The child should not be returned to these parents. The last mother that left the baby while she walked in to the Dollar Tree, Kayla....she's unfit. She seems like she's done this before, but only got caught now.
In another dollar store video like this, two-year-old Sutton Eggeman's dad left him in the backseat of the truck. The truck was stolen with the toddler inside! The thief was found and charged with kidnapping, but I was not able to find any info about the dad being charged for leaving Sutton in the truck.
The cops should’ve taken that mini van around the corner and watch Kayla fall out for leaving her child unattended in an unlocked, running vehicle. What the hell is in Dollar Tree that you need so bad, that you would endanger your child’s safety?

Why can’t the parents just leave the air conditioner on in the car for them? My mom leaves the air conditioner on if she leaves me in the car and even then she runs quickly inside and comes back to the car even if she did leave me in the car. Why can’t those parents just leave the air conditioner on in the car or being the kids inside the building?
Why is the female officer down playing this? She almost makes it sound like she’s suggesting that she should have just left auto running! It’s a BIG DEAL

Even the thought of what those kids are going through makes me feel so sick. These parents have no empathy for their own children . Get the kids out of the car ! I can't stand how long people leave their children in the carseat. Its torture!

I know right!?! I have seen articles and heard news stories about infants and young toddlers being left, oh sorry, "forgotten" by parents and left strapped into their carseats inside the family vehicle overnight; several hours in the early morning until lunchtime, etc. All of which resulted in infants & toddlers freezing to death or literally cooking their insides. What makes it even worse is that there are SOME psychologists saying that it can & does happen by accident and they even named it the "Forgotten Child Syndrome"!!!

I ain't going to lie, I forgot my child in the car when I had a ton of groceries and was late to get on a phone call for work. I noticed after like 1 minute of being in the house though and ran out yelling "Omg sorry buddy, I'm coming!!!"

She’s an adult, sick of cops talking, talking, talking to parents that they know good and well the seriousness of leaving helpless children in a car while they do whatever in stores. You can bet those crocodile tears mean nothing but self pity. Lock her up…setting an example for child abuse.
