There are three nylon ball bearings that go into the gear drive between metal triangle gear and the large nylon gear that turns by the worm gear. The three little nylon balls ware out and disintegrate. Replace them and the ball berings will engage and the window will work. Some people use steel ball bearings, but that can cause damage to the nylon gears.
Trying to find A video to show location of the Circuit breaker, finally got my New Tailgate on, ready to put window, but not till make sure switches work, Don't have Old owners manual to show Fuse Identification.. But Think you gave enough to get my in the right direction, check wire leading to it.
With your window not working, how did you get the tailgate down and the regulator to the window out? I have an 88 Bronco and my window wont go down (not getting power to the motor, but I know that it is a different issue) but I want to take out the regulator and clean it off and reattach the motor while its out, but I can't get the regulator out.
just fyi if the window still rolls down and up a little too slow there is an adjustment for the tension on the worm gear. loosen the tension and it will go a lot faster! same on the front windows. that worm gear starts getting stuck after decades of life.
jeremy gruber were is located that worm gear because I have that problem I have to pull that window whit my hand and order to role up whit that key on of course
There are six wires at the switch. Two are BLK/WHT "Black with White stripe" . BLK/WHT are the "HOT" wires. One for "Up" and the other "Down". Check for power on both wires.
i have a 96. the rear window just started having issues. it goes up and down but is "jerky" and "slipping". there is movement on the glass and i can hear the motor turning even when there is no movement. It is not consistent. Any suggestions anyone????
Thanks for the tailgate videos, I know they are from 2017 but found them today. Thanks for posting.
3 11mm ball bearing to put in worm gear housing to replace the crushed plastic ball will fix that regulator .
That switch is a hard part to find. I finally got 1 hopefully my window will go up n down with the key. Thanks for sharing.

How could you tell me if you bring a button inside the booth to close or open the glass since my walk can not find it?

I'd use a little graphite lube for the rear window gear maybe?
The rear tailgate windows on these Broncos are its Achilles heel. Ford should have stuck with lifting window hatch.

Keep them wires away from moving parts and make sure them drain holes are clear.
buy a piece of metal rod round one cut 3 pieces don't use plastic and never have the problem again
