- This week Darren is visiting the best whiskey shop in Ireland, and his workplace for over three years, The Celtic Whiskey Shop. He's trying the Celtic Cask, the shop's own brand of independently bottled, award winning whiskey. Is it possible to retroactively get fired from a job? After this video, maybe.
Celtic Cask 52 is available for international shipping through this link www.celticwhis...
Or check out Celtic Whiskey's range of other Irish Whiskies and Spirits and have the shipped directly to your door!
Not a sponsored video, I'm just very sound
Climbing a ladder in a liquor store seems like....whiskey business? I'll show myself out.
😅😅😅😂
Looks like someone threw you the Celtic Whiskey Mop! 😎
Coming soon, The Mop Guys channel.
Thank you. Don't ever miss a week again.
Oh man, i love when Darren says his fampus catchphrase "Aw, Beans!" - i have the t-shirt!
Tastes like BRUSH
These videos are great.
This one is missing Gráinne trying to choke Daren out.
This show has been great Darren, keep it up brother.
Let's reflect . . . on that tiny Grainne cameo.
😎
Wait, wut?!?!? I need a timestamp, dammit!!!
0:15 That's Mel Gibson😂

@@1968jitbag Maybe. But that might be wishful thinking.
I thought youtube was hiding you from me! So glad you're back.
Darren should have made a comment about the Cask of Amontillado.
was waiting for it
Nice to see Whiskey taken seriously.
You've become a new highlight to the week
At least they didn't add to the price with your referral.
Thank God you're back.
Is that Grainne waving via reflection on the bottle at 2:28?
👋🏻
That's a solid discount.
Love the combination of whiskey/information/comedy presented! As i'm from part of the world with limited Irish Whiskey options would love to see a video around Tyrconnell! I've only been fortunate enough to try the madeira cask but it's probably my favourite Irish whiskeys to date.
Found you through the TRY channel, subscribed immediately, am not disappointed...
Watching this while sipping whiskey finished in a maple syrup barrel.
You're making a strong case to take a drinking tour of Ireland.
At the mention of Amontillado, I was half expecting someone to lure Darren to the distillery with the promise of tasting a new whiskey and then trying to trap and brick him into one of the walls. Thankfully, all they wanted him to do was clean the place.
Another great video Darren.
I'd be like a kid in a candy store in the shop, WOW.
Well now, you keep adding to the list of reasons for me to visit Ireland..*makes note on list of reasons to visit Ireland*... Thank you sooo much!!
Seven words that make algorithms love You.

Dangit, I was in Dublin this spring! This video came too late... Well, on the list for next time, then.
Hmm, I wonder if I enter Grainne's name in the discount code field, will I get a better discount?🤔
My whiskey go to guy. Appreicate your passion and the knowledge you share on the subject. Learn so much from you ! Thanks for all you do. SLAINTE' !!
It's interesting to see how small businesses can take more risks then large companies nowadays: beer microbreweries, indie video game studios, and here an independent whiskey shop and bottler. They can go wrong, sure, but they can also push the frontier for what's possible - which the large companies will, unfortunately, be more than happy to exploit to the fullest, usually at the expense of the original pioneers.
Subscribed and looking forward to more. Canadian here so don't have as much access to the range of Irish whiskeys as this shop. My father was born in Kinsale so I grew up in a home where there was always at least one open bottle of Irish something or other - and it was usually a bottle from Bushf*ck...
Another great video
really enjoying the content Darren, keep up the good work and keep us whiskey nerds smiling.
I would love to go shopping there...of course I would love to get to Ireland for a vacation first. lol
As someone who has had to clean public washrooms on the job I can really appreciate the opening bit 😂
I saw your video on Blue Spot. I tried to find it (nearly impossible in my area) but I did manage to find (while on a trip) some Yellow Spot and it is very good. Thanks for the tip.
What cool shop. Never seen anything like it. That’s a lot of whiskey!
Oh heck yeah!!!!!
"Oh my god, it's on the ceiling!"
I've been in thst shop. Very cool.
I love these videos. Being in the states, I really need to visit Ireland and specifically Cork since I have relatives there.
And to try the whiskeys
😉
Great video! Absolutely need to hit up the Celtic Whiskey Shop on my next visit to Dublin.
Howdy Darren!! Brilliant as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big hugs from Kenny in Ohio, USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these videos and I don't even like whiskey.
Love James Fox as well. Ordered a lot from JFD!
I walked in that shop once and felt intimidated and out of place when I admitted I actually prefer peaty Scotch whiskies...
Darren I am enjoying these videos so thank you!! I had a choice to make the other day 18 year Tullamore Dew at $125, or 14 year at $75. I went for the 18, would I have been just as happy with the 14 and $50? Asking your opinion if you have tried both.
I have been to the Celtic Whiskey shop in 2022. It is a grand shop with a vast selection. My problem is that they do not ship to the entire US thus I can't order from them. But I can order from James J Fox in Dublin and they will ship to my state. I sure hope the Celtic Whiskey shop can fix that. Nice video of local whiskey shop.
I didn't know you had a stepladder. Do you still keep in touch with your biological ladder?
😂
Ba-dum chee!
With the tipsy accident falling from the ladder can I ask, have ya been giving the Celtic cask whiskey a bit more then a taste test?.
I’ve found some bottles are cheaper to have shipped from Dublin than to buy them in the States.
Greatest music choices on the u tube
Darren, we don't come here to watch you yammer on about whiskey. We come here to see you and Gráinne having fun together -- mostly Gráinne. 😀
Seriously, we do like to see her as part of this channel. I know she's busy with her career, but I certainly hope she continues making more substantial appearances on the channel.
Was that Grainne waving in the reflection on the bottle ?
Anybody can pass on the floor. Be a hero and white on the ceiling.
I’m drawn more and more to independent botteling the last year or so, because of the often unique whiskies they have. Signatory, Claxton, Gorden & MacPhail and Murray McDavid to just name a few. I’ll definitely be putting Celtic Cask on my wish list
You are a Booz nerd. Thanks for the fun.
Love this channel.
Working ! ? ! Career ! ? ! 😂 Seriously , Darren love your channel ! Did you know that Chivas Regal sells a bottle of 45yr old whiskey for $ 200,000 US. Dollars ? Bet that tastes good 😋
Will be visiting this shop on my next trip to Ireland!!!!
Are they, by chance, hiring?
Asking for a friend.
Who happens to look suspiciously like me.
Nice channel. Needs a soundtrack that isnt on 8 track.
I swear I was listening and not reading labels over your shoulder..
Shit on the ceiling that is. Lol
Ooh! Feeling like I need to get back to Dublin!
Great content.
Thanks.
What kind of glass are you drinking out of at the 3 minute mark? That's not a regular Glencairn.
SO much info, so fast.
Always a laugh and education.
No Grainne? Or was she the one throwing the mop at you?
I don't know much about Irish whiskey. What would you recommend for someone that doesn't like peated whiskey?
How come the bourbon is locked up behind glass doors?
"Working"
Drinking ruined my life. I have family and physical problems, so most of the time I am ummm unconscious? I have no idea what I am saying or doing or drugs....
Wow did you walk backward, still talking and NOT bump into anything?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always thought Wild Turkey was just a wino's drink, but I bought the 101 off your recommendation, and it's damn good. Distillers take note!
lol❤
Self-respecting? Why are you setting the bar so high?
I see you 2:28 waving, camera person (Gráinne?)
