    We should revert back to the original name. Not that of colonisers like Hortan et al, who managed to steal our land with the help of those sobs who came to this country for trade. This happened when the invaders were about to pack off, unable to resist the locals.
    Yes, you may find the quartz tools here, too, like in many places of the world. But keep in mind that the ancestors of those chena cultivates supplied ships the the Chinese emporers and at one time the whole of the east coast was one ship building yard.
    FYI, this place was known as 'anothapthawila' ( a lake from where four great rivers orinated) and has been proven to be as deep as 19m in the distant past.
