  • Learn the basics of start-up and stopping operations using a BR 155 electric locomotive.
Following the reunification of Germany in 1994, the DR BR 250s were renumbered under Deutsche Bahn’s reclassification system and become known as the DB BR 155s. Following this, the BR 155s could be seen all over the German rail network, hauling a wide variety of freight services, including fast container trains on the high-speed lines.

Another awesome video brother! Really want to get this loco to add to my German fleet. I have more German & Pommy locos than I have Yankee locos lol 😆. If I get the BR 155, I already have the following to complement services on my German routes: the 767.2 Dopplestock, BR143, BR185.2, BR146.2, the BR182 & the BR1442-6 Talent 2. One suspects I’m a German Rail Fan lol 😆. It’s interesting to note that I’m from South Australia and yet I have a immense interest in European ops especially. Something about them really does it for me.
It would be so cool if they did something of Australian origin. Even more so in my home State would be awesome. South Australia has not one but two significant preserved railways. One of them is the SteamRanger Heritage Railway which is by far one of the longest preserved railways in the world at a distance of 50 miles or 80 km. That line is broad gauge and has ALCOs & English Electrics for diesel power among two operational steam locomotives.
Then up in the Mid North of the state where I volunteer is the Pichi Richi Railway which operates the last remaining section of the Old Ghan Line on the narrow gauge. We have three diesels and a Railcar among five operational steam locos.
Imagine those on Train Sim World?! It would be awesome! Anyway, great video as always and thanks for sharing with us! Cheers Caleb

"To get the locomotive upon running, set the reverser, wait a moment and let the auxiliary compressor charge" - what the eff ? Pneumatic valves consume air from auxiliary pneumatic circuits and also makes unnecessary electrical load to the weak batteries. You have to collect power from contact wire, run main compressors until air pressure relay switch them off and finally set reversing knives.

"To get the locomotive UP AND RUNNING", not 'upon running'. What the eff?

@@droge192 okay, good, but this sequence would spoil aux. static converter/stabilizer and get some air from unpressurized main circuit breaker's reservoir. Btw, sorry for my English, I had explained this as far as I know.
