Frickin love the orange. I'm gonna do mine like this too but I want to put the silver decals on the orange panels to accent it a bit. I think it would be cool touch. Love your droid. Looks very cool.
This is very much like RideMakerz that they use to have in DD. I have a Charger from them. Costed the same, now sits in my closet collecting dust.
I can't wait to build my own. Wanted to try and recreate R4-G9 from episode 3 but they don't have the colors. So instead I will make a red R2 unit with the yellow panels like the one in this video. That was a droid I thought of in grade school. P2-G2, the personal droid to my bounty hunting pug-man.
They do have the stuff to make R4 they got the red round head and the white body plus the red paneling, they got it all
@@MyHeadsHollow The specific droid I was thinking of was R4-G9 which was the gold one Obi-Wan had after his previous droid had it's dome pulled off. But I did make a childhood droid I had dreamed of. P2-G2. An R unit colored like Samus Aran's armor in Metroid 2. I had a pug bounty hunter character who wore that armor from the planet Dogmu. I was in 4th grade so that was pure genius then.

Sorry for the late reply and you probably already visited Disneyland; but the personality chips are $12.99 and there are 6 versions (2 Empire, 2 Smuggler, 2 Resistance). By default the R-unit sounds like R2-D2 and the BB-unit sounds like BB-8. Accessory color panel packs are also $12.99. Decal sheets are $7.99. The other accessories range from $12.99 to $17.99 if I am not mistaken. Ofcourse those accessories and decals are only for the R-units; the BB-units don't have any additional options. 🙂
Recently they also added the option to purchase individual heads (and body shells for BB) for $14.99 each (if you buy 3 it's $10 each) so if you want to change your droid once in a while you can (or buy extra heads and sell them on Ebay or something lol).
Not the worst way to spend 100 bucks
It's actually way better quality than I was expecting, especially with the land interaction and it being rc.
@@ParksBros I how they build connectivity with an app pr something. If the personality chip only really does the bulk of what it says in SWGE, then that's kind of a waste of $18...
Did you also build your own Lightsabor?
I wish we could’ve, but it was a 4 hour wait, so they cut off the line before we got to it 😕
