I forgot to mention that I have seen a slight increase in gas mileage since installing the injectors. Now it not anything drastic but it almost 2mpg. I have noticed that I don't have to down shift nearly as much going up hills.
Two weeks and I can say that I have picked up 2 mpg with the jeep. I don't have to down shift nearly as much and have a greatly improved throttle response. This is a upgrade that I would recommend to anyone with a tired 4.0.
Hello hope you doing good, have a question hope you can help me I have a dodge ram 2500 v10 change injectors for 4 holes truck star but revolución is to highl around 2000 don’t know why. Thank you.
There is that possibility, but I have seen no negative effect due to the 23 pound injectors. I don't have a way to look at the fuel trims on my jeep and haven't brought it to a shop for them to check. My plan is to do a 4.6 stroker in the next year or two. That is why I went with the 23 lb injectors. I didn't want to buy 2 sets.
@@XtremeTruckAuto appreciate your reply, i think i should probably just get the original 19# version. Do you know if theres any warranty from injector rehab?
@@JFabrication Below I have posted the link to their website on their warrenty. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the video but they do send out a paper showing how the injectors tested after being rebuilt. Another place to check out it for injectors is K-suspentions. They have both 4-hole and 12-hole injectors. I have herd good things about their injectors as well. @@XtremeTruckAutoi ended up trying 19# ford/bosch 4 hole and didnt end up with much better running and restarting than before and actually ended up getting a hestation or stumble lean momentarily when towing a load. I switched to a set of used 12 hole 24# bosch’s and its running better and smoother, also finally an improvement in mileage by 2-3mph and the ecu still has some learning to do. So far fuel trims are no worse than -10% avg. tht shouldnt be a problem.
@@JFabrication Good to hear that the jeep is running better and that you gained some mpg. Also I appreciate the feed back on the trim levels. Mine took a bit to settle in but once it man it runs good for a 4.0 and it is still going strong.
Yes leave the plastic on them if they look like mine in the video. Mine were good to install right out of the bag they came in. You will know pretty quick if they are installed wrong.
@@XtremeTruckAuto just started it up. Definitely better throttle response. My heat guard was so trashed, next on the list I gotta get a new one of those. Thanks for this video!!
I got 4 hole injectors from the same place about 6 months ago but 19lb which is same as the factory rating. Any reason or benefit you went with 23lb injectors? I know they are recommended for stroked 4.0Ls
I plan on stroking it when the used car market crashes and I can pick up a different daily to drive for cheap. Also I wanted to see if there were any benefits or issues going with the 23lb on a stock motor. I would say my pinned comment form 3 months ago stands, so I cant complain. Either way if you go 23 or 19 I think it is worth it.

Great video
Thank you!!
So this didnt require altering the ECU programming?
No it did not.
@@XtremeTruckAuto Thanks, appreciate the reply/info.
@@Troyvidihoo Absolutely!!!! FYI I have had zero issues with the injectors. The jeep still runs like a champ.
Do the larger 24# injectors have any benefit on a stock motor? Mines feeling tired with 210kmi. Does it cause bad negative fuel trims ?
