There is no way i can afford the motorcycles on the list, but i can still very much afford many others.

I see the agony on the face of my fellow coworkers whenever they ask me how much do I pay for my 2022 Rebel 300, the cheapest comparison was a used car paying like $350/m, my Rebel pays $140/m. My dude... you might need to look into a better pop filter. Or pass your voice track through a low band filter. My subwoofer will thank you. :) And, on your reasons for why buying a used bike is something to think about, they are spot on and I am a perfect example. Just a couple weeks ago, I got a used CB1000R (yes, Honda for the win!!) only 2 years old with 5600km on the clock for 9.1k Euros. The previous owner also did some upgrades like a Leo Vince exhaust and risers for the handlebars. Both mods I'd do too. So, I saved about 600 Euros with those already added mods. The bike runs flawlessly (knock on wood.....but...... nah. I don't have to, right? It's a Honda!). Keep up the good work!
I'm looking to get a ZX6R used but I'm really unsure what mileage would be great for what price. I don't want to have to worry about any sort of engine problems, only the regular maintenance. I'm thinking anything under 10k miles is good, as long as they've maintained it. What price would be a fair deal? Not looking for a miracle, just an okay deal would be fine with me.

The only cruiser on the list of sub-$10,000 bikes is a two model year old Rebel 1100? Good lord you missed a huge market! Metric cruisers like Yamaha V-Stars, Honda Shadows and Suzuki Boulevards can be had a couple years old for $5-7k all day long! I bought an older '06 Boulevard C50 for under $3k with less than 20k on the clock. I see C/M50s, C/M90s and even M109s going for under $10k all the time. C'mon Papa Yam! You need to do a road trip on a big comfy Cruiser before you slap a big ol' "X" on the cruiser guys. Your audience is not all 20-somethings looking for spicy squid missiles. Some of us are okay loping along with comfortable riding torque monsters.
Lol the only new bike I have ever purchased was a 2021 husky Tc250 smoker. I just purchased my dream bike though “used” a 1st gen fz09 with 10,000 miles. Yes I know some dream bike lol but I absolutely love her and my other bike for when I want to take the wife out is a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000sx. I love it as well 😝
Rebel 1100 used going for $9500? whoa... local dealer to me has a couple DCT models brand new at $9999 right now, and recently sold a manual at like $9200... all brand new.
@yammie. Your giveaway motorcycles. Do they only apply for people living in USA? Or can someone living outside the USA potentially win one of your giveaway bikes?
I would imagine he would ship outside if the person paid for international shipping. But I can not speak for him. Seems fair. Since that would be alot more to get to someone outside the states.
I kind of feel like all used bikes should be under $10, 000. Hell, I bought dozens of bikes over the past 30 years, 2 of them brand new and I've never spent as much as $10,000 on a bike. Don't think I ever will. As much as I love motorcycles it's still just two wheels, a frame, and an engine. I just don't see that sum of parts being worth over 10 grand no matter how pretty you make it or how good it sounds.
@@rabimunif2078 Any of the big 4 is worry free until at least 25.000 miles on them. 50.000 if they're low rev. Mostly because we don't know if the owner did the maintenance properly lol.

Something nice to look at cause I cant afford maintenance, insurance, registration. On holidays I will splurge on an an eyedropper of gas. Its gotta be a sweet sweet 50 feet I can ride this thing 3 circles in my driveway 4 times per year.
So there is one thing I’m confused about. The thumbnail is a Suzuki GSX-S750 but they did not talk about that bike at all in fact it wasn’t even in the list.
As 34 old dude who just about to learn, I've looking for a used bike here in SoCal since dealers have limited inventory and high mark ups there are no used bikes and the ones left are wayyy to expensive. The cheapest I found is a 2019 Honda re el 300 without abs for $4,400 so I might pull the trigger as the main reason for me to get a bike is for commute and save in gas and traffic....I'm also tempted to travel south the border and get one of those Italikas. Down there 150cc are the norm and 250 you are a cool boy. The one I like is a dual sport 250cc for like $2k. Insurance is cheap and I could learn with it and sell it in less than a year. I do have a Mexican drivers license and I could pay for the motorcycle one.
I wish ya the best in your endeavors David!!! I too have gotten my bikes for commuting duties since I basically find myself living at my job these days 🥴🤷🏽♂️💩 They serve the role well. An R3 and an XT250. Instead of buying one big bike- I bought 2 smaller ones 😉 I don’t find the need to validate my ego with large displacement 😚
I have a Rebel 300 is a great bike, I get 86mpgs city driving (no highways) and its got good power for a begginer, I got mine 4 months ago and still feel like its got more than enough power for me. Im 5’6” and 125lbs tho so maybe if you are bigger/heavier it might feel less powerful for you.
Harley Sportster. The best value out there. It’s not about purchase price - it’s about total cost to own. Sportsters can be almost free to own over 3-5 years given their resale value.
While I can operate a M109 as is a +3" aftermarket seat and +3" foreward footpegs would make it perfect. A Custom seat for the Concourse with the step moved back 3-4"" would make it perfect.
I started street riding on a Boulevard M50 🤷 decent bike, shit for freeway riding with speeds beyond 70 mph with only 5 gears. Suzuki screwed that bike by not putting a sixth freeway gear on their cruisers

SO u dont buy used cars either? Yeah I agree. I could have bought a shiny Ferrari 348 last week for $8500, but I was like, no thank you, ever heard of butt cooties? What do I look like, a sucker to you? I didnt let him rip me off. Close call.
Literally looking for this right now.
Which one should i get?
2022 cb500f or 2022 mt07?
depends if it’s your first bike
i got a cbr500r and i love it as my first bike
don’t buy any brand new bikes
@@ethanleno5259 it'll be used, but with 2k miles. Will save me a few thousands by not buying at the dealer
You forget the most powerful bikes known to man kind.. The Hayabusa & ZX14. Can find them used under 10k
There was meant to be a Duke 490 for 2022 (With a whole new twin motor) but shortages and pandemic has pushed it back.. maybe for later 2022 or 2023.
This would be so cool
Lol the only new bike I have ever purchased was a 2021 husky Tc250 smoker. I just purchased my dream bike though “used” a 1st gen fz09 with 10,000 miles. Yes I know some dream bike lol but I absolutely love her and my other bike for when I want to take the wife out is a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000sx. I love it as well 😝
I like this videos! Nice
I’m looking to get a bike when I am older and I am eyeing a Yamaha r3 but not sure if it is a good starter bike. Anyone know?
I love the honda rebel package in that price but the styling still doesn't inspire. Why not put a royal enfield on the list?
I bought a used 2020 cb300r with a whopping 16 miles and it's been simply the greatest bike for the last 9 months; now I want to be a squid.
You can get leftover gsxr-750s under 10k if you can find them... Would commit serious actions for one atm!
I really was expecting to see the mighty Buuuuusa.
I got a 2002 honda vt1100 shadow aero that was my first bike
Sadly not a whole lot used bikes in my area for me to upgrade, at least not from looking online. Gotta keep waiting I guess.
Once the Triumph 660 Tridents become used, they’ll be the best deals on the planet. Solid bike and tons of fun to ride, and the sound of the inline-3…
What bout used mt 09s for around 6k?
@@rabimunif2078 Any of the big 4 is worry free until at least 25.000 miles on them. 50.000 if they're low rev. Mostly because we don't know if the owner did the maintenance properly lol.
Honda Rebel or Kawasaki 900 are probably the best bikes out there.
V7 850 by MOTO GUZZI
How about a 2014-19 street triple. Either the 675 or 765?
How can i enter the giveaway if i live in ny?
I, for one, would like to talk about this outro.
10:35 laughs in v rod for 7k
Yammie, Please get a pop filter for your microphones! I love your videos, but that ear popping bass is killing me :)
Ive had at least 3 years in my life I make only 7.5k in a whole year. What can you recommend for under a hundred bucks lol. Something nice to look at cause I cant afford maintenance, insurance, registration. On holidays I will splurge on an an eyedropper of gas. Its gotta be a sweet sweet 50 feet I can ride this thing 3 circles in my driveway 4 times per year.
Just a couple years ago this list was for 5000$. Society needs to focus on these central bankers.
Only thing I can say to newbys is ATGATT!, it has saved my skin more than once.
What about cruiser or touring bikes for 10K??
I bought my first bike a year ago and its a Yamaha r6.
2022 xsr900 is much better cos it has 3 cylinder cp3 (crossplane) engine not inline 3 anymore. And the sound more beautifull
So there is one thing I’m confused about. The thumbnail is a Suzuki GSX-S750 but they did not talk about that bike at all in fact it wasn’t even in the list.
Triumph speed tripple
Grab a used cg 125 in pakistan and ride the thing to hell and when you learned move onto something else
Harley Sportster. The best value out there. It’s not about purchase price - it’s about total cost to own. Sportsters can be almost free to own over 3-5 years given their resale value.
Yammie could you guys do a too 19 budget bikes for rider 6'5" or taller
KLR 650, Concourse, M109.
@@hvymax hmm I haven't sat in the mt109 yet
While I can operate a M109 as is a +3" aftermarket seat and +3" foreward footpegs would make it perfect. A Custom seat for the Concourse with the step moved back 3-4"" would make it perfect.
My KLR has a 2" taller seat, lower pegs and taller bars.
And how about the honda cbr600 f4i
Great bike although it would be better suited to an "under 3,000" or maybe "under 4,000" list".
Make triumph produce a trident 765
I started street riding on a Boulevard M50 🤷 decent bike, shit for freeway riding with speeds beyond 70 mph with only 5 gears. Suzuki screwed that bike by not putting a sixth freeway gear on their cruisers
I bought a near mint 2005 R6 from an older man for $3000.
