If u extend him to the max u gotta ask more from him…Kyle been held him back maybe for his own good and cuz of the weapons we had so he didn’t need to take over a game..but if u give him the max and especially if u don’t have the weapons u had in the past u better have a QB that can win u games on his own otherwise it could get ugly quick
Why is Brock held to such a different standard. Nfc championship as a rookie, superbowl second year. This year was devastating with injuries. Brock should get market value. He has more playoff successes than the others who were just paid. Dre is awesome. We missed him. 😢
Niners need to wait because Brock on this seasons shows he’s incapable of amping up his quarterback play. If Niners do sign him to a 60 million contract, Kyle and Lynch will get fired in 2 seasons, Brock is an average quarterback if you want to be real. And terrible organizations don’t have balls, they pay their quarterbacks with no resistance. If I’m the Niners organization, I follow the blueprint of Baltimore. Let Purdy play out this season and franchise tag him next season. If he takes them to the nfc championship or superbowl during this time , you sign him to an extension but I don’t see that happening. CMC is done and will consistently get injured, Kittle will get hurt, Trent is trash now and they don’t have that elite receivers that changes the game. BA is good but he is a top 15- 20 receiver. But if Niners go back to the way of focusing on defense first, I can see the Niners winning with any quarterback that is top 15….
Need to be able to separate team success and individual success. Frank Clark has more playoff success than Micah Parsons & Myles Garrett. Or the Chiefs Pacheco vs Panthers CMC & NYG Saquon. Justin Jefferson has less playoff success than Deebo & Aiyuk... Besides, haven't you seen what paying Tua, Trevor, Dak, etc market value has done to those teams? Why would you want that for your team? Getting him down to where Kyler, Kirk, Pat, & Josh are at ($40-46m) means you can easily keep Dre, Hufanga, & Mason if you wanted to.
@mko0lpmko0lp Success is so subjective. Rodgers has one ring in 20 years. Look at Dan Marino. I remember watching the superbowl and JJ Watt said he never even got to a superbowl in all the years he played. He was sad about that. Brock went to one his second year. It is such a team sport. Look at Burrow this year. He can't do it all alone. There are only a few elite. Pat, Allen, Lamar, Burrow. Lots in the middle. Cousins has 400 million for 1 playoff win in 13 years. 😬
Trade Purdy, he has regressed to garbage from 7th last year to sitting 12th now. From NFL QB index reports: Purdy 7th 2023 Season San Francisco 49ers · Year 2 *2023 stats: 19 games | 67.8 pct | 5,054 pass yds | 9.2 ypa | 34 pass TD | 12 INT | 218 rush yds | 2 rush TD | 6 fumbles "The “skill or system” debate may have prevented you from thinking straight regarding Purdy, but allow me to simplify this for you: In the most trying, pivotal moments of the 2023 postseason, Purdy repeatedly delivered....." 2024 to date Brock Purdy Rank 12 *2024 stats: 13 games | 65.0 pct | 3,174 pass yds | 8.4 ypa | 15 pass TD | 9 INT | 285 rush yds | 4 rush TD | 7 fumbles "In Week 14 Purdy looked like the quarterback we knew him to be in 2023, lighting up Chicago in his best showing of the 2024 season. However, the pendulum swung aggressively in the opposite direction in Week 15. Like Matthew Stafford, Purdy struggled with accuracy amid unrelenting rain last Thursday. Also unrelenting: The Rams' pass rush, which registered a 35.3 percent pressure rate and played a direct part in Purdy's second-half interception. Deebo Samuel's third-quarter drop didn't help matters, nor did Jauan Jennings' drop on an accurate third-down throw from Purdy, effectively defining a night of frustration for Purdy and the 49ers." Oh the QB's you talking heads think are better; Wilson-13th, Hurts-14th, Murry-16th, Herbert-17th, Stroud-18th, Tua-19th. Yep put Darnold on this years dysfunctional team and Purdy on Minnesota, what rating would both have?
Did you factor in the injury to everyone online tailback tightened wide receiver Dline linebacker cornerback and safety plus rookies played more than any starter at any other time in Kyle's tenure
@@pj2218 I am huge Pro Purdy. The point is to say he has not 'regressed' but is playing well ranking 12th out of 32 QB's considering this years team. NFL QB Index points out things as 2023 success in needed situations was due to Purdy and that possible future Hall of Famer Stafford also 'struggled' in that rain game with Rams scoring no touchdowns but all of the talking heads fail to mention that. Teams like Minnesota have a much better 'team' this year most.
Purdy should and will get 65/70 million whether you like it or not. He already played for you for 3years in elite level

Without his so called Avengers he’s mediocre. Like Nick Wright said that’s why.

Sorensen ain’t that good in my opinion. They don’t line up right at least twice a game. That’s why the Tight End was wide open against the Rams
He should not be top of the market but…get paid well within other QBs with his numbers
Fire Nick Sorenson he is no DC material and caused 49ners so many games😢😢😢
