My narcissist will never take action #3, 4, or 5. When confronted with the offense, there is no reply, no apology, or regret. It is a repeat of a repeat, etc. So, total no contact even though we are in the same house.
Couldn’t blame you! Many people don’t realize that women are just as often the abusive partner. Men get ‘trapped’ because they tend to find it difficult to discuss with their friends or families, and often men (or abused women) mistakenly stay for the sake of their children. Yet what children need MOST is a peaceful home, even if it needs to be two homes. Emotional and physical peace and safety is imperative for our wellbeing! I know a few people who are caught in this painful chaotic web, or are free but trying to heal. You all have my prayers!
Yes I’ll learn to trust a person to do exactly what they show me.
If I ever can get out, I could never trust myself to pick a partner again that wasn’t like my parents, ex friends or partner.
I don't trust myself to choose wisely, either; that's why I rely on God guiding me. He's already given me a new family thru church.
