Despite it was intended to be a hyper-realistic version of the original movie, the Beatles in this footage were modeled in a slightly more caricatured way of their faces. Honestly it was really good.
Honestly, the 3D animation fits so much! I don't know why. But after seeing some 3D animated films in my life (e.g. The Polar Express, Mars Needs Moms, The Adventures of Tintin), I look at this clip and thought "Man, this is good! Whoever animated this did a great job!" And I agree with someone in the comments, this 3D animation DOES capture the weirdness of the scene. And I guess having it in 3D animation does make it look a bit trippy, which I think also fits. I haven't seen the full movie, though. But just watching this scene, I feel like there's a lot of weird stuff going on. Imagine watching the 1968 version, which used traditional animation, and it went from 2D to 3D and everything starts to get more realistic, to the point where you thought you're high.

Disney should seriously consider taking their unfinished animated projects (Kingdom of the Sun, A Few Good Ghosts, etc.) and complete and release them on Disney+. That way, they wouldn't need to concern themselves with their box office and they can please the fans with more exclusives.
Trust me if I was Disney's CEO, I would release all of Disney's unreleased and lost media just so fans can be happy and that Disney wouldn't have to make more live-action remakes of their movies they did in the past.

I would actually like to see a animated movie of this
For something like Yellow Submarine I don't think the animation style is weird at all
No way I’ve never seen clips of this before! Can you tell me how you found it and if there is more? I’m a big Beatles fan and thought this remake was gone forever!
I did not found this, it was found by the YS3D project, you can find more information in the Kitsu Beatle video. Check the links in the description. All credits to them
Found the stars of my newest nightmares!
If you look inside the telescpoe at the beggining the fat desingn with a vest is cannon
Is sherk
@@jorgealonso6242 lol
these visuals are so gorgeous and uncomfortable at the same time.
The facial animation looks GREAT!
@@theyakkomanguy7522 I don’t care about that. That’s an entirely different matter.
@@voicebox64 You are right. Just thought I would mention live action remakes because honestly I don't like live action remakes.
@@theyakkomanguy7522 some of them are fine. It’s just I hate it when people shoehorn it into a conversation. I don’t need to hear about it.
@@voicebox64 Yeah I hate that too.
its not a bad cgi, looks cool
What's the Matter John Lennon? Blue Meanies? 0:01
Ringo's reaction is so cute, god
WTF THIS STYLE IS LITERALLY PERFECT? IDK WHY PEOPLE SAYIN ITS WEIRD
this video keeps appearing on my recommended page, and I LOVE IT
Just saying, if enough people petition to bring the movie back, it could most definitely happen!
You heard of the petition I’m guessing
Thwse mocap models look absolutely stunning, honestly John looks like The Conductor from The Polar Express,Ringo reminds me of either Billy or "Hero Boy" from The Polar Express aswell.
Aún recuerdo cuando esté video tenía menos de 100 comentarios XD
You know, given the oddness of Robert Zemeckis's Motion Capture CGI Films, I feel like this would have actually worked in the remakes favor had it have gone forward.
As a big Beatles fan, I would've loved to seen a fully finished product of this. Besides if anyone could do it, it's probably Zemeckis.
You can see the Chief Blue Meanie in the telescope, so coool
The Beatles look incredible in there
You can see the blue meanies in the reflection of john’s spyglass
Looks amazing. I'm sure we all want this to happen right? Just "bully" the creators into finishing it and what not.
yeah i dont think bullying the filmakers would be a good idea..
@@ARGENTIN4K it worked with the snider cut
@@jonahhumfleet472 Don't forget the Sonic movie.
@@racervin14 yeah
Robert Zemeckis has stated he has lost interest in reviving the cancelled CGI version of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine. He has stated this "That would have been great to bring the Beatles back to life. But it's probably better not to be remade - you're always behind the 8-ball when do you a remake."
i will forever be pissed off that this movie was cancelled
I'm getting extreme polar express vibes from this
