    • @crystalalumina
      @crystalalumina 3 года назад +2

    You still don't care to change the title. Why wouldn't you just call it "Spanish words that non Spanish speakers can't pronounce". The use of a race to describe a group of people who speak or don't speak a language is illogical and stereotypical.

    • @Evandarks

      yes, you're right! but I think that's the point... Flama is just using the sterotype! I mean, Joanna is white, but she's latina and speaks spanish, there's a video about being white and latino, I'm sure that she knows the difference between America, United States, White, Latino and Spanish... I think that's why they put the " " around white

      So yeah basically the whole "spanish words people cant say" is wrong at so many levels. It should be "Spanish words English speakers cant say/pronounce".

      2) CLICKBAIT OK. ITS CALLED CLICKBAIT.
      3) come on, they obviously are people from Europe who don't speak Spanish, not the ones who do. Or Americans form the US. They just picked white people (U.S -_-) because TO society it's more likely that white people (Americans) can't speak Spanish than African American people. Now where in the video did they offend white latinos. At the end of the day we all are Hispanic,
      Maybe not in skin,but in culture and language. So instead of trying to get latinos like me, who think this video isn't offensive. Try to (not forcing u btw) help them stop this argument. Because the point of the video was to laugh, not to start a Hispanic war in the comments

    • @JuanCarlos49086
      @JuanCarlos49086 7 лет назад +2

      You don't get it precisely because you are from Spain and are not familiar with terms used in the USA. Over here 'white people" refers to a specific ethnic group in the the United States, whose native language is English and who do not claim membership in any other ethnicity. In other words, white Americans, a group which has existed since colonial times. It's how they call themselves. "White people" does not refer to all Caucasians in the world, just to that group. It's the people Latinos call "los Americanos". Well, American is anyone born or naturalized in the USA, without reference to any race or ethnicity, while "white people" is very specific. This creates confusion, unless you are an American and are familiar with how people here use terms like "race", "white", "black" "Hispanic" etc. It's not as simple as it appears.

    • @fedegroxo

      @@JuanCarlos49086 Actually I've never heard any native Spanish speaker (latino or peninsular) refer to people from the USA as "americanos". And do you know why? Maybe because, spoiler alert, all latin americans ARE americans, since they're from the very same continent, which is called AMERICA. They'd rather use the terms "estadounidenses" o "gringos", but "americanos", seriously? You guys from the States are not the center of the world...!
