    I understand Spanish can be difficult to learn because all the different verbs, plurals, genre of a word, etc.
    But reading it...all the letters are pronounced the same way, in every word! The only "difficult" letters are G and C, because it depends on the vowel, but the rest...it is really easy!

      @Kevin Uub ¿? I don't know where you are from but that's not true.
      1. The US has a wider range of races that many latin american countries: white, jew, black, asian, middle eastern... So the percentage of white people is actually lower than my country (Argentina) where literally half of the population is European descendants.
      2. No, the northern European thing is incorrect. Americans descent from all European countries, mainly England (on their roots), not Scandinavian where the real white people are.
      3. Have you been to Spain or Italy? They are white as hell.
      4. What I wanted to point out in my comment is how absurd is the idea of ethnicity and race that Americans have: you're white if you are a descendants of a white european, my great grandparents were all Italian, but I'm argentinian, does it mean I'm white or Latina? Because if I go to the us, they would say Latina because I was born in Latin America. But if I was born in the US, with my european ascendant, I would be considered white.
      5. How do you know these people are 100% european?
      6. You sound racist as hell

    As someone who grew up in Phoenix and sees spanish-speaking Mexican almost everywhere she goes, I was able to pronounce every word right and couldn't even believe that there are people who have absolutely no clue how Spanish is pronounced - especially considering that spanish speaking people live all over and it's the only language we "teach" in schools for the most part. Though if we actually teach it is arguable considering no one ever learns anything in this education system. This shows that quite clearly since many of these people had been through spanish class at some point according to the prequel to this.

      +Haley Ervin A lot of Anglophone Americans forget that Spanish isn't the only language that rolls the r's and are much more phonetic than English. I have a habit of responding to phrases like "I can't roll the r's like you Spanish people" with Rammstein lyrics, or rehearsed phrases in Romanian, Icelandic, Japanese...or even Klingon and Romulan.

      Well, I know that there are way more languages that roll the Rs besides the ones we mentioned (because there's just no room in this text field for me to list ALL of them); I just covered the ones that I've spoken. Technically, I speak both English and Spanish, but I do tend to memorize and quote phrases in other languages (French, German, Japanese, Romanian, Icelandic, Italian, Romulan, Vulcan, Klingon)...even thought I'm not all that proficient in those.
      When you say you only speak Greek, I'm surprised your English is decent. Or was this through a translator?

      I will agree on one thing and one thing alone. Immigrants must learn the lingua franca of the land, but that doesn't mean eliminating the use of other languages. The United States of America is a primarily English-speaking country, but it is not an exclusively English-speaking country. We need to get rid of that xenophobic sentiment, as it has no place in a country of freedom and liberty. In fact, you have several Indo-European languages spoken here as well as many Asiatic and Native American languages. Learn English, yes, but don't forget the use of other languages. The United States of America does not have an official language, and it would be an infringement of rights to impose an official language.

When I was a child I used to give my grandmother (who was born in Spain) my pokemon cards and ask her to read them and laugh about how she pronounced the words. It was funny as hell.
    The thing is, if you have a word from a language you barely know and somebody ask you to read that word, you are probably going to fail. Im "hispanic" (born in Argentina), and I do speak english, even though i have an accent and I have some troubles with pronunciation, grammar and that kind of stuff. I think its normal, its funny, and its not a bad thing. I dont find this video racist nor anything similar, its just funny to watch some people having trouble to say words that some other people find easy to say. There should be a similar video, with "spanish" people pronouncing german, and lets see the results. Its probably going to be a disastrer :P

Mi propia cabeza me traiciona :c

    Foreigners don't realize than here in the USA we use "White" to refer to Non Black, Non Latino and Non Asian citizens of USA.We KNOW there are European/Spaniards who can pronounce these words

      Dyno No they are not unless they are citizens of the USA.
      It was this country that started the whole "White" thing. In Europe they never described themselves as white. They just called themselves European or French, or Spaniard ect..

    • @Dyno_98
      @Dyno_98 9 лет назад +6

      +NewRUclipsSucks. "White people is a racial classification specifier, depending on context used for people of Caucasian ancestry. The contemporary usage of "white people" or a "white race" as a large group of (mainly European) populations contrasting with "black", "colored" or non-white originates in the 17th century."
      Source: Wikipedia.

      Dyno Yea but this is something that started in the US, not Europe.
      Europeans have historically identified themselves by their nationalities such as "French" or "Italian" but since Americans don't know where they come from they just use the word "White".
      Lets not forget "White" isn't a race, most Asians are white skinned too yet they don't call themselves white, that is an American thing.

      the problem with the people from USA is that apparently they don't know the difference between race, ethnicity and nationality. Also they put labels and misuse a lot of wrong terms. Just an example: they call football as soccer, or their country as America (originally America was used for the "new world"), or use the term latino or latin american to spanish speakers, when technically brazilians and quebecois are also latin americans (as portuguese and french are latin languages)

      América Latina es una región sumamente diversa y mestiza étnicamente. ¿Mayoría de piel oscura? No lo creo, chica... Hay países con más composición afro (Panamá, Colombia, Ecuador...), indígena (Perú, Bolivia, México, Guatemala), caucásica-mestiza (Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica), está Brasil que es gigantemente diverso (incluso teniendo diásporas asiáticas y libanesas gigantescas) Chile con población significante descendiente de croatas, Argentina y Uruguay de descendientes de italianos, Perú de japoneses, México de españoles, Venezuela que recibió inmigraciones gigantescas en alguna época de muchas partes del mundo. En fin, la humanidad en general es sumamente diversa, vamos siempre de un lado a otro y América Latina es el vivo ejemplo de ello. :)

    Just here to educate a lot of simple minded people in regards to the term "white"
    The term "white" is an "Anglo Saxon Germanic" term. It is an ethnic group.
    If you can trace your ancestry back to Northern Europe, Only then can you be/ call yourself "white".
    Otherwise if your ancestry is traced you Southern Europe then you are either a "Hispanic" - Spain.
    Or you are a "Latino" - France , Portugal, Italy and Romania.
    The countries that I listen by name will never be white, as I already said. "White is an Anglo Saxon Germanic term.
    What I spoke about was in regards to ethnic groups. Keep in mind that all though Europe is ethnically diverse it does not mean we ain't Caucasian. Also keep in mind that people from the Middle East are Caucasian as well.

    • @robiking011
      @robiking011 9 лет назад +6

      ''White'' actually is supposed to mean Caucasian. But to many people in the United States the term ''White'' is synonymous with "'Anglo American''

    • @ImOrevis
      @ImOrevis 9 лет назад

      ***** Nope, Ill tell you why.
      Caucasian covers a large spectrum as you can see by following this link.
      fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/196/f/8/caucasoid_skull_by_dizneykhan-d57ccow.jpg
      As I stated already. Us Spaniards do not call ourselves white, We call ourselves Hispanic. Same Goes for the rest of Latin Europe".
      I agree though, Many people tend to use the word white when reffereing to Caucasian, But as you can See, Saying Caucasian Includes not Only Europe but people from Northenr Africa, The middle East and Even India.
      This leads to lots of confusion and It is my goal to educate. xD

    • @robiking011
      @robiking011 9 лет назад

      Orevis Here's the real history of the term ''white''.
      ''White'' is an informal term that Europeans used to describe themselves when they came over to the Americas. And over time, the term ''white'' became mostly embraced in the United States. Now at days the term 'white is mostly used in the United States.
      You're right, Spaniards don't call themselves ''White'' Neither does anyone in
      Latin America. That's a United States's custom.
