It's 2023 and Chester is still missed. Mike Shinoda and the rest of the band mourn him much more than we know. Chester was in so much pain. At least he is at peace. For the rest of us, we breakdown when hearing this beautiful song. Long live Chester Bennington, in peace!

Outstanding performance. The strength this must have taken. Shinoda is a legend. (Singing a song for a friend who passed who sang the song previously for a friend who passed… that’s some emotional weight for sure).
It’s almost like when mike sings it. He sings it from hope. Chester came from pain and understanding. Two different feelings coming from both of their voices.

The most impressive part of this performance was that Mike was able to hold it together through the whole thing. Meanwhile I'm a blubbering mess here and I didn't know him personally.

I like how Mike started off slow and pretty off with the vocals but slowly got into the rhythm of the song as it progressed really like to think Chester helped him gather himself and not lose it on stage 🥺🤘🏽

12 de febrero de 2023: Escribo desde La Paz Bolivia, era fines de 1999 e inicios del 2000 cuando escuche por primera vez a LP y one step closer, un sonido diferente, eneregía positiva, no imagine que este grupo me acompañaría en el tiempo, crecí con sus temas, con la voz de Chester y Mike, con el potente sonido de LP, fue muy triste la forma en como nos dejó Chester, por lo que creo que debemos ser conscientes de lo importante que es la salud mental, que es una enfermedad letal, hoy escucho a LP con mucha nostalgia y el recuerdo de que hubo momentos de que me levantó el animo y me dio energía para seguir adelante, si tu que estas leyendo estas lineas escuchaste LP sin saber ingles, me entenderás. You are sorry for your English? We are sorry for the fanbase Linkin park has! We all assume that Linkin Park should have changed their tracks when they released meteora. We all hated them for albums like A Thousand Suns and Living Things. We hated The Hunting Party because it was way too heavy and faster than most of us fans actually liked. But we hated One More Light so much that WE all shitposted about Linkin Park and Chester Bennington all over the internet. We, all the fans, killed a man right there by hatespreading their songs and albums. We just didn't dislike them, but made sure that everyone around us switched to some other artists and hate Linkin Park altogether.
And finally, after Chester's death, we kept posting on social media stating him an angel, a God, and what not! We garnered social media presence, gather likes, and earned fames by using their name.
We are the reason which killed Chester Bennington and Chester is the reason why we are alive today. And now that the band has gathered some courage, that they have realised that it's important to tribute a musician by living up to his mark rather than minding their own businesses, we are shitposting against Mike.
We created memes of the band because of their change in sound. And we paid Chester gratitude after his sorrowful death.
