Thank you for sharing this valuable video on Gmail and Google Sheets mail merge without any add-ons! Adding Tomba Email Finder for Google Sheets addons will definitely make the process even more efficient. Great tip!
Thank you! This worked out perfectly!
This was so helpful! You saved me so much time and worry with this tutorial.
Glad it helped!
Thank you! Saved the day.
Glad it helped!
Men that's awesome. Thank you!
Right on bro
Hello and thank you for the video. If I have a google spreadsheet that frequently gets new rows added to it with new prospect's information can I have gmail use a saved email template, merge some of the google spreadsheet data into the email template and send it to the email address in that new google spreadsheet row? Thanks for your time.
Thanks but I'm unable to send emails if the same email id's are present in the same column
It wasn't recently added. Its been around for a while and they reduced the functionality of the mail merge, such as the ability to customize the subject line and posting to the google sheet the date/time it was sent.
hey there, thanks for the video ,very helpful indeed, I need to ask you a question. how should I schedule the mail merge list? I mean I want to send emails from different sheets on different days and times, how am I able to do it? is there any plug in gmail has? Please let me know, thanks
Can i add my own variable's? For example instead of first name a variable called Company_name
Hello, great video. I have lists of email addresses which are mainly domain emails but there are also gmail emails mixed through the lists. Can anyone tell me how i can remove the gmail emails please.
Something like IF(RIGHT(A1),9="gmail.com"),"",A1. Totally untested so use it as a starter formula.
I am currently trying to do this for my organisation, I am facing a bit of trouble in the last step. Gmail throws this error 'failed to send preview email. Multi send does not support confidential mode, reply mode or scheduled emails' I am not scheduling this email, do you have any idea how I can fix this?
No, sorry. I hope you get it worked out.
Will the mail land in inbox and can it be used for email marketing ?
Yes, it should.
I have a paid google workspace Business Account. How do i enable this feature?
It should be on by default. If the options aren't there, you will have to talk to your admin.
Any idea how to add cc and BCC
Nope! It doesn't appear to be designed for that.
Is the paid version better than the free version?
What paid version?
Mine still says the format isn't right
Uh oh;)
@@ProlificOaktree same , any suggestion ?
@@MDDanceCompany That sounds like the type of error that could be caused by many different things. So, as much as I would like to be able to, I can't offer a reasonable guess!
So it's not free.
Huh? 🤨
