Interesting. I did a few of these back in the 70s and 80s when I had an auto trim business. The toughest part was getting the headliner frame out of the vehicle and back in it. These were your typical Ford and GM passenger cars. I would have liked to see how you handled that part of it. I presume it was a little easier in your truck with the larger door space.
It was easy because my 2004 Chevy truck is an extended cab with no post, unlike later models that are a true four door with the post between the doors. Thanks very much for watching and the positive comments. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Thanks for watching and the positive comment. My first thought is it may be to heavy and may cause the backing board to sag, but I have seen cars on the net that had carpet looking material. Do a search on Ebay for Headliner Carpet. Someone may sell just what you want. Cheers.
The new headliner looks beautiful. I also saw you repaired lots of chainsaws on your channel. Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.

Thanks Buddy. It took long enough.
I am wondering if carpet will look good as a headliner cover?
I know that it will be a good sound defuser and will also have a bit of R factor
