The whole show was honestly underwhelming, cause honestly no one went INNN. Everyone said the same thing, Kevin had all the jokes about being talentless and his biggest achievement being a dad, Nick got all the jokes about being the baby of the band and the baby of his marriage, and Joe well... maybe his roasts were more varied.

Looks like a desperate attempt to attract a younger audience.
There was a few good jokes and then she fell back into the same formula that people have criticized her for. She has potential but she struggles to adapt. She’s sticking to what she did on RUclips which worked when catering the a younger audience. However, that’s not enough anymore and she needs to find other things to joke about other than her sexuality, ethnicity, and gender. When she brought it up I just got underwhelmed even though I expected it.

I'll keep it honest: When she strayed away from the "White Man/I'm Bi/I'm Indian" formula that she ALWAYS uses, she actually had some decent jokes, but by the time I was getting into it, the clip was done.
Her formulaic shit was bad as always, but when she actually started roasting on an person-by-person basis (instead of talking about herself) it actually started warming up.

The jokes aren't as funny as Priyanka is making them seem but I feel like people have become so used to taking a dump on Lily's jokes even when they are pretty good. Was this roast worthy? No. Was it funny? Yeah. Was it THAT funny? No.

From an actual fan (who accepts what the meaning of roast is) here are the points they could have used:
- The fact a music establishment voted and awarded them a prize for the worst song of all time- Don't Charge Me For The Crime ft. Common
- Lines, Vines and Trying Times. That's the joke. That album and the way it performed could have been a roast.
- J.O.N.A.S on Disney channel. That's the joke.
- No where in this do they mention the time Joe Jonas moved on with DNCE and became a huge success without his brother Nick (that would damage Nick's ego too much)
- Or the time Joe got picked over Nick to star in Camp Rock...
- How about the fact that Joe Jonas was always the 'funny' one growing up rather than Nick..
I can tell Nick Jonas not only proof read but entirely came up with the whole script which is annoying as someone who knows what's going on.

Cake By The Ocean was mentioned once during this roast and that was only to belittle Joe and DNCE. If I remember correctly the joke was, 'what was that ONE song you guys had again?' .. They fail to mention DNCE also had hits like Toothbrush, Body Moves and Kissing Strangers.. which all performed on the radio just fine. Also left out the fact that Cake By The Ocean is probably the biggest song any of the Jonas Brothers have released individually or combined. It's interesting b/c it begs the question, how many hits then did Nick really have as a solo artist?? 'Jealous' was his biggest (other than 'Close' which was a feature) but to be honest I don't think many of his other solo songs made radio play- MAYBE 'Levels' if we are being generous. These are the things Nick's ego does not want you to know.

She started out weak. When she got towards the middle, still weak. However, she did have a handful of good jokes. Glad to see that after all these years, she's finally starting to get what comedy is. Maybe if she keeps going, she'll actually be a half decent comedian.
Right? The delivery wasn't the best but, the weakness joke, the EGOT joke and the Hey Joe I didn't forget about you were actually good. I think she did well. And it's quite sad that people have just become used to shitting on her jokes that they won't even give her a chance now. One of her biggest issues is that she yells her punchlines which takes away from the unpredictability of the actual pucnhline

It’s because Lilly Singh is the anthesis of comedy. She only has three (really two) jokes. White man bad, I’m bisexual, I’m funny. The fact that people have to do that fake canned laughter just to boost Lilly’s self esteem, just shows how horrible she really is. Look I understand laughing at taboo topics, like race or sexual orientation, I’m a big fan of Gabriel Iglesias (who makes jokes in the similar genres), but you can’t deny the talent gap between Gabriel Iglesias and Lilly Singh. Lilly Singh is like the third grader you have to chuckle at to not seem rude, while Gabriel Iglesias is an actually funny person. Lilly’s comedy relies on yes-people to prop her up and give her laugh tracks while a comedian like Gabriel can get laughs without command.
