Has anyone been to Whisky Galore? They honestly have the best selection for whisky enthusiasts in NZ! Have a look here: www.whiskygalore.co.nz/. As I always say, if you’re coming to New Zealand, make sure Whisky Galore is on your list of places to visit! Big thanks to them for sponsoring this video!

Decent selections from Wayde, but I’d have suggested a bottle from Callington Mill over Rutherglen. And instead of Sullivans Cove, I’d have given Phil a single cask/craft from Fannys Bay, Hillwood or even a TIB/Heartwood from the Duckett boys.

Loved this video and the collab with Wade. That Pokeno Prohibition Porter sounds right up my alley, porter is my favourite beer style. I agree with the Thomson Full Noise, it reminds me of eating manuka smoked fish when I was younger. I have the Starward Unexpeated, which is a really good whisky. From memory the difference between the Unexpeated and the Peated is that the Peated was finished in the peated barrels for longer. There are so many good whiskies available down in this part of the world and it is great that you and Wade can showcase them. If it weren't for you highlighting it on an earlier video I never would have known about The Goleta, which I'm loving. Unfortunately, I haven't been to Christchurch since getting into whisky, but a visit to Whisky Galore is definitely a must do the next time I am there. Cheers!

@@Splinta13 Don't give up hope mate, there are many lesser known Aussie whiskies that I'm sure will surprise you. If you haven't already, look into Highwayman, Spring Bay, Morris of Rutherglen for more affordable price points, Amber Lane... lots of stuff out here that is worth looking for 🥃

Great video! @McIntyresMalts thanks for holding down the fort for the Aussies. Remnant Golden Fleece is 10 Years Old + casks go into the marriage. The Whisky is only getting older. 10YO Tassie whisky for $99. Winner winner!
