- Join me LIVE as we celebrate hitting 50K subscribers with the incredible First Phil Fam! 🎉 To mark this milestone, I’ll be tasting some of the absolute best whiskies in my collection and sharing why they’ve earned a top spot on my list. But this isn’t just about my journey-it's about YOU, the amazing community that’s made it all possible.
During the stream, I’ll be answering your questions in a live Q&A session, so come prepared with anything you’ve ever wanted to ask about whisky, the channel, or the journey so far. Plus, as a thank you for all your support, I’ll be doing some special giveaways throughout the stream-you won’t want to miss it!
This celebration is all about the First Phil Fam and the community we’ve built together. So grab a dram, settle in, and let’s enjoy some fantastic whisky while we reflect on how far we’ve come. Cheers to you and the next 50K! 🥃

Catching this a couple days late. Congrats on the milestone buddy and solid choice of celebratory bottles! Enjoyed the video, or at least the parts I could understand. 😉
Cheers!🥃
😂😂
Congrats on 50K. Always good info and chat on your channel.
Thanks!
Only catching up now but congratulations Phil! Your channel and the discord have definitely been the largest contributors to my whiskey journey and given me the confidence to pursue a career in the industry. Cheers Phil, you're a legend.
Also the Sanaig Gang thanks you for your service.
Thanks man! #sanaiggang
Proud to be the newest member of the Sanaig gang :)
Delicious!!🤤
I had a meh bottle a few years ago. It wasn’t bad, it was like two whiskeys that hadn’t been blended well.
I got my 2nd bottle a few months ago. It’s lights out.
Brought a Cardrona The Falcon back from our fantastic vacation in NZ (South Island only for this time). Really like it! Bought it directly in their distillery shop. Really great service, and what a beautiful location. Planning to persuade my brother in law to carry one for me when he comes to Denmark at Christmas 🙂
Great Live Stream Phil! Congrats on 50K subscribers! Cheers!
Thanks so much!! 🥃
Sagamore Cask Strength and others in the Sagmore portfolio are a great start into Rye Whiskey! 👍
Well deserved 50k, greets from halfway around the world, Iceland.
Amazing to have you watching from there! Thanks mate! 🥃
Ps. Tried the cardrona falcon at a whisky festival in glasgow in january, loved it.
Just picked up the batch strength kilchhoman, and enjoying a glass now. Love to see the sanaig getting celebrated 👍
Congrats Phil on 50k from Yorkshire in the UK. I always enjoy your content. I managed to watch a bit of the live stream and watching you now on the playback at 2-15 pm, dying to have a dram...God it's hard work not to. Anyhoo, all the best 👍
Thanks Chris!
Completely anecdotal of course but i’ve noticed most scotch drinkers I know find American single malt, rye whiskey, and Texas whiskey much more interesting than bourbon. 36:51
Congratulations on the 50k Phil! Managed to catch up last night and just wanted to say that a video on IBs would definitely be interesting. With IBs I know I might not be able to find the same bottle someone else is having, but the quality of what is offered can speak loudly to the care each IB has in their cask selection process, which ultimately will help me as a consumer in the future.
Well done on 50k Phil! Started my whisky journey 3 years ago and you have helped a lot. Coincidentally Sanaig was one of the latest bottles I bought based on your advice, and wasn’t disappointed! Cheers and keep up the good work! Greetings from Shanghai 🥃
I had my Sanieg the other night with some Prosciutto and Manchengo cheese, amazing!!! Changed my friends, who's not a Peat fan, mind on smoky whiskies too. Recommend trying it
Welcome to SanaigGang
Sanaig and Glen Garioch 12 basically perma-shelf status for me now. Some 'love' from Ralfy to Glengoyne in his rant this week haha
Just catching up, congratulations on the 50k! I just got my Sanaig, looking forward to have a sip 🥃
Thanks for this great vid, Springbank cannot be found in Canada telling me I it’s a good whiskey. Port charlotte is a good one, love it.
You should do a live show from dramfest in Christchurch March 1.
Love that you’re from our region and from NZ representing (& punching above your weight…as usual right! Eg. LoftRs, Crowded House & Pavlova 😊) keep it going! And looking forward to the Aust/NZ whiskies episode!!
Congrats PhiL on 50K from India 🇮🇳 Keep going!! 👍🏻
Thank you!!
Great video - on a diffrent note, regional wines down here in welly arnt keen to host a tasting. Hopefully something somewhere can be tee'd up if you roll down here
Super keen to do a tasting down there!
Could be cool (tho admittedly potentially expensive) to compare indie bottlings of the same distillery. Like comparing that to a signatory Linkwood and a G&M Linkwood. Would be extremely interesting to see how different bottlers perform
Asking for INDIAN FANS Pls suggest me all time smoothest whiskeys for palate and Also if we taste some whiskeys getting chill full for mind❤❤
Sorry I didn't catch this live - I was up a bit late with Scotch on the Bayou... Congrats on 50K!
Interesting that you showed a much more expensive Convalmore than the one I sent (the Diageo special release 'Bluebell brand' from 2013)! Glad you liked it. I took the last of my previous bottle along the second time I did the Dufftown Distilleries Walk with Michelle of Speyside Tours and shared it with the group outside the remains of the distillery (now just used as warehousing). That was fun!
I'll be interested to see how you rank my samples (favourite/most impressive to least) when you have had a chance to taste all of them.
Phil, unless someone already mentioned, when hunting Cadenheads, go on their archives page on their website and you'll find a more detailed breakdown of tasting notes and casking. I recently picked up their 10 yr Knockdhu (Ancnoc) that is partially matured in fino sherry, which I'm excited to crack open soon. Cheers from Canada on the milestone!
I’m from Brazil 🇧🇷. I realy like your way to talk about whisky
Congrats mate!! Well done 🤘
(From Aust)
Well done Phil love the great content keep cracking on !
Amazing achievement. Re future videos, quality not quantity
awesome. keep it up Phil!
Lucky Phil. Is indeed lucky
Whoop whoop I'm early!!!!
congratulations all the way from Brazil! Really like your work!
Thank you very much!
Cheers From INdiA
