- NFL Blitz Pro 2003 is my favorite football game. Gameplay starts at 3:40. You can play as Bison, Peguins, Zombies, Clowns, Dolphins, Ninja's and many more. The announcers have good chemistry which makes it fun to listen to them. The gameplay is good fun, hitting your opponent's after play's is very sending them flying. Well guys I hope you enjoy this goofy game.

Haha...this was my baby. I was the Design Lead on this game. Also worked on Madden / NCAA Football for EA SPORTS for many years. But this version of Blitz was amazing to work on. Don't think it ever got the credit it deserved, but, I'm also pretty biased. Thanks for sharing the video!!!
Now that's something...wow. As a kid me and my siblings loved playing this game we unlocked every goofy team. Had so much fun abusing the AI. We would quickly switch through all players and spam tackles, then watch a sea of players dive head first into the offense. Or pick the dev teams and win with ease because of there op stats lol.
I think you did a great job with this game. Probably was released ahead of its time. There were so many games released for the PS2 era, sadly a lot of gems got overlooked. This being one of them for sure. Thank you for being part of this great game.
@@LoopyLongplays Haha...yeah, if I remember correctly I'm the free safety on the developer team. My face is actually in the game...lol.
And I love the right stick for celebrating post play or as you are running down the field. And the back juke where you hit both juke buttons at the same time is awesome as well if you time it right and a defender dives right past you.
But yes, super fun game. I had some amazing online battles way back in the day!

My friends and I always thought it was a great shame that Blitz never went anywhere after this, as it's waaaay more funner than the regular football games.

When did you guys find out Pro would have to be cut down to NFL standards? Getting to work on Blitz must've been a dream project, for sure, but this game not being anywhere close to the heights of Blitz 2000 must've sucked for you guys.

The team selection here makes the game look like a clown show, but don't be fooled. This is an authentic nfl football game
This was one of the very few sports games I had and enjoyed playing with my siblings. We loved playing as the Hotdogs and Polygoons.
I loved facing the hotdogs, because of how hilarious they look. My favorite team was the Bisons.

The commentary was pretty epic. Keegan-Michael Key was Gator Jones, the color commentary personality in the booth, while he was still working at Second City in Chicago working on his comedian skills. Clearly he has blown up in the years since. But Gator Jones was fucking hilarious.
