My cousin lost her husband a few weeks ago in a avalanche snow machining.just took my bikes out today put the batteries in them but forgot to get my tags yesterday so no riding until monday.beautiful ride guys.
Such fantastic scenery! Brian you have once again really captured the beauty with your drone video and of course the great editing! This video really captures the POV of rider with your chest cameras! With the camera angle capturing the handlebars you feel like you could put your hands out, grab the bars and be put of ride! I just love accompanying commentary and banter between you both on all your videos!

It marks the source of the Rhine.This is the lighthouse that stood at the mouth of the Rhine in the North Sea for 70 years. A little funfact. Now you were in Sedrun, 2450 meters further down the mountain runs the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the longest tunnel in the world. okay thats all. Thx for your Videos. ride Safe.
The Furka Pass is one of my favourites in Switzerland. Not particularly challenging even on a big bike, but the ride is very smooth and the scenery mind-blowing. I have to admit though: in this video, the scenery is not the only thing that blows my mind... 😀A fellow biker from Belgium
I just figured out why the electric fence along those mountain roads. It is not to stop you going over the edge. It is to zap any errant motorcyclist awake to make certain they enjoy the view on the way down as it is likely the last thing they will ever see.

I have enjoyed your 23 day trip so much , that I watch you both and plot the waypoints (in Basecamp ) , in the dreamy hope of repeating your complex route . When you have completed the final edits , a ‘Trip Summary ‘ , showing your route, with highlights would be a wonderful finale . Just a suggestion , but of course more work for Brian . 😊
I sometimes get a bit of vertigo watching you transverse the switch backs wondering if you guys get a bit of the white line fever after your ride is done dreaming about the road while sleeping.
I must say, this looks like the best riding in the world and has been added to my bucket list. The views are spectacular and breathtaking with every turn. Thank you for the time and effort to share this.

@@BunnyKingHogs Brian, if your bike's fitted with the stock HD ECM, (Engine Control Module) consider replacing it with the HD Screaming Eagle ECM. I'll admit to being way behind the curve when it comes to post 70's tech but I'm thinking the higher performance computer could probably handle the math better above 10K meters of altitude. 🤔🤷🏻♂️ plus you'd be one step closer to the Phase 2 performance upgrade that comes with a higher performance cam.😉😁

Yeah, Vietnam is pretty wild, but bikes definitely not 400-500 cc. You will get dual sport up to 250, but usually they are 150cc. I know it sounds funny, but I live in Vietnam. In average bikes here between 150-100 cc. Anyway, visit Vietnam highly recommended! 🇻🇳🔥
A few videos ago, you wondered if you were always in the correct gear and I told you that a TwinCam idles at 1000 RPM and lugs below 2000 RPM when under load. Today was my first 2023 ride with my FatBoy, also a TwinCam, and I checked the range I was using as a hint for you. So, aside from accelerations, the engine was in the range 2200 - 2800 RPM when cruising, depending on the speed and the gear I was in. Hope it helps. Looking forward to see the next video about « La Tremola ». I am really looking forward to your comments on that particular road. All the best!!!

Vietnam is so different from where you are, but it has of course its history, and mountains, no barriers on the twisties, and some roads are poorly maintained, can be pretty basic, but also five star, infact my one criticism I went for the ride and the organiser spent too much money on hotels, the cost could have been reduced, but over all I think most enjoyed the trip, ten bikers, we all came on our own bikes from Thailand via Laos, I did 5000k return from my home in NE Thailand. My advice is go, you can hire bikes there.
Apparently every village has little B&Bs that cost $10 for the night. We have been researching Bike hires, but cant find any good deals without being upsold guided tours. Any suggestions?
@@BunnyKingHogs there are four things I like about HD, I must admit: they sound great, owners keep improving their bikes with (sometimes) cool accessories, there is a great and relaxed "we" feeling among US-HD owners (maybe in Canada too) there are pretty good looking ladies riding HD....
@@BunnyKingHogs - over here in the US we are hugely angry with the current price of gas at $3.35/gallon… realistically it should be around $2.00 - $2.10 had the country stayed the course and not elected Joe. But live and learn as they say. Love the Vids, haven’t been back to Germany since 1994… ie., a very long time, the Swiss scenery reminds me of the area near to where I lived in Woerthsee am Steinebach… Also, side note… Big BMW loyalist who just bought an Indian Challenger Dark Horse… so far loving the bike, first American Cruiser/Bagger. Still have the Beemer though… 😅

Well going down hill on my bike is tough on brakes, I’ve had the brakes go spongy on me before so have to take it easy.

I love your videos! Question: the sound quality is very good, we can hear you guys voices very well with little background noises (engine noises e.g.). How do you do that? Is that recorded sound from the intercom?

We use 2 separate recording devices and match them up to the videos in editing. Probably the reason why it takes so long to edit.

Yeah, Vietnam is pretty wild, but bikes definitely not 400-500 cc. You will get dual sport up to 250, but usually they are 150cc. I know it sounds funny, but I live in Vietnam. In average bikes here between 150-100 cc. Anyway, visit Vietnam highly recommended! 🇻🇳🔥

A few videos ago, you wondered if you were always in the correct gear and I told you that a TwinCam idles at 1000 RPM and lugs below 2000 RPM when under load.
Today was my first 2023 ride with my FatBoy, also a TwinCam, and I checked the range I was using as a hint for you.
So, aside from accelerations, the engine was in the range 2200 - 2800 RPM when cruising, depending on the speed and the gear I was in.

Vietnam is so different from where you are, but it has of course its history, and mountains, no barriers on the twisties, and some roads are poorly maintained, can be pretty basic, but also five star, infact my one criticism I went for the ride and the organiser spent too much money on hotels, the cost could have been reduced, but over all I think most enjoyed the trip, ten bikers, we all came on our own bikes from Thailand via Laos, I did 5000k return from my home in NE Thailand. My advice is go, you can hire bikes there.
Apparently every village has little B&Bs that cost $10 for the night. We have been researching Bike hires, but cant find any good deals without being upsold guided tours. Any suggestions?

@@BunnyKingHogs there are four things I like about HD, I must admit: they sound great, owners keep improving their bikes with (sometimes) cool accessories, there is a great and relaxed "we" feeling among US-HD owners (maybe in Canada too) there are pretty good looking ladies riding HD....
Canadians are always happy because they have the best happy ending massage salons with stunning girls 😂
I have never been to Canada so can’t say whether that it true. But I know for a fact that these two Canadians have beautiful wives :)

Yup, everywhere in Europe! We saved money by not eating out at lunch time and rather taking a picnic.

@@BunnyKingHogs - over here in the US we are hugely angry with the current price of gas at $3.35/gallon… realistically it should be around $2.00 - $2.10 had the country stayed the course and not elected Joe. But live and learn as they say. Love the Vids, haven’t been back to Germany since 1994… ie., a very long time, the Swiss scenery reminds me of the area near to where I lived in Woerthsee am Steinebach… Also, side note… Big BMW loyalist who just bought an Indian Challenger Dark Horse… so far loving the bike, first American Cruiser/Bagger. Still have the Beemer though… 😅
