You can get your masters degree anywhere, at this point if you’re working on your masters and get your degree you’re good enough for a job to look at you. I received my MBA from University of Maryland - Global Campus and I’m still in the military. I’m about to work on my PhD (doctorate) in business from Liberty University and believe me I know those two schools are not like UCLA or Harvard, but for me I’m serving in the military and made E-6 in 6 years. I’ve accomplished so much and from what I know about how I’m doing, people will respect you by what you do with your work experience and your degree. ❤ Don’t let a schools reputation deter you from earning your degrees.

That’s amazing, congratulations on the hard work you’ve put in! I’m currently attending UMGC and just started. I got out of the military in march. One contract was enough lol. I’m considering liberty, just doing research.

Online college is the way to do it. No going to lectures and wasting the first 6-8 hours of your day listening to some drag on, just to go home and teach it to yourself and spend hours on homework anyway… just skip that and do the homework, that’s what liberty online is about and it’s great.

I went to LU and I absolutely LOVED it. It's not perfect but what University is? I'm really curious about why you don't recommend anyone to go there. I want ALL my kids to go there. Even the ones that aren't born yet!

I loved my time at LU. Grew incredibly in the faith. Grew up in the church, but my faith became MINE at LU. Lots of kids being sent there by parents who think it'll straighten them out... that doesn't work... But for those who truly want to seek the Lord and grow in a solid environment, it's so good.

Depends. I’m not personally attending yet but, from what I understand. It’s a very religious and conservative school. Not like a monastery or anything, but you have to attend convocation either once or twice a week I think, which is basically like worship with motivational speakers. Both political and religious. And although I don’t think you would be persecuted for your lifestyle. People wouldn’t accept you. Most probably. They’re not going to adjust the atmosphere of the school to one that would be less offensive, or more supportive. No pronoun changes, no hanging pride flags around campus, and probably no same sex PDA around others. Altho, I don’t think any PDA in public or really in private is encouraged. Depending on your sexual orientation, if you’re lesbian or bi, a lot of girls in your dorm would probably be uncomfortable.
Not only that, but as a conservative Christian myself I have to be honest. My views do not reflect all others, but many I’ve talked to share them. We set up our own university for people just like us. Where we don’t have to worry about worshiping or reading our Bibles in the public campus, where we don’t have to worry about being screamed at due to our beliefs. We won’t get canceled for deciding to not kneel for the anthem. Our country and religion is allowed to be celebrated. Please, unless you will be open to our views and beliefs and not try to change everything lol, don’t even attend. You can go to almost any other campus in America and they will accept and support you. It’s not like that for us. We will RESENT you if you come to OUR campus, and try to turn it into a haven for your beliefs. I don’t want to discourage you if you’re willing to not change it, the education and experience is fantastic from what I’ve heard, one of the best up and coming collages in the east right now, but again, conservative and Christian. Just be wise.

I experienced a lot of racism from Liberty. I had to received several complaints of being accused of plagiarism of submitting previous class work from another course year yet it was my first semester?! The Professor made up lies. This happened twice not once. From white women Professors. My experience with the male Professors were different and professional. I got great reviews and the feedback were be that I was very knowledgeable in the field yet the lowest grading from white female Professors. They can’t give you the instructors ahead of taking the course to avoid taking classes with these Professors. It’s not a great school.
