Fun fact: During that scene when they had to put out that huge forest fire, when Daryl threw an axe onto the tree, Norman nailed that tree shot on the first damn try! Mad props to Norman Reedus right there!👏

Welcome to season 10 of TWD. One of the things that stood out to me is Daryl walking along side of the group during their training on the beach. He was obviously in a supervisory position, and I love that.
Danai is such a good actress. When Eugene was explaining that he needed ten minutes, you could FEEL the irritation in that "oh my god!" XD it made ME feel bad!

The finale for this season was delayed as it was originally going to air on April 12th and immediately afterwards on the same night they were going to premier the first episode of the walking dead world beyond
But next week at comic con the finales release date will be announced
Hopefully it’ll be the week after comic con
Considering it’s going to take the Duo 7-8 weeks to finish this season and the comic con panels are in under 2 weeks! I imagine the episode will be out in time before Steve and Lacey have finished the season! 🤙🏻

I have a feeling they will also announce the release date for Fear because that's meant to come out in the summer and they said that after Covid caused filming to stop
I have a feeling fear will start in August and end in September and than the main show will show the finale in October or late September and than world beyond will be October to December
I believe the whisperers went to a warmer climate for the winter. there was no snow when Betta was whipping Alpha in the season finale.
I agree; that was always my opinion. It'd make sense, right? If you live like animals, and among the dead, there's little chance for huddling around a warm fire.
What makes this premiere so great for me is the tension. The paranoia. You feel it build the whole time. As if there's a powder keg about to burst. All this build up, seems as if we are gonna make it out of the episode ok, and the one peaceful moment we get at the end, and out comes Alpha, like a wild animal waking up out of her cave... and her and Carol lock eyes. Damn what a scene. Those are two bad bitches right there!!! It's a shame cause it seems like as if for months Carol was trying to get away from Alpha, forget the barn and the pikes, isolate herself on the boat... and the one moment she wants to spend with Daryl, and here comes her own worst enemy looking her straight in the eyes. That poor women cant catch a break.
It was only a week without your reactions and I already started feeling “starved”, you guys are awesome! In my opinion season 10 is just as good as 9, so I think you’ll love it as well. And yeah, Daryl learning how to sign for Connie is one of my favorite thing (ever!), they are adorable. As well as Daryl and Carol talking about being besties, bff bracelets etc, it makes my heart so warm 💗
10 is great but 9 is better. Season 9 had no bad episodes imo, while 10 had a few in the first half that weren't as good.

This is amazing can't believe you're finally here I've watched this show since season 1 realised in 2010 and I've kept watching ever since and seeing you watch it is amazing to me I've rewatched 3 times now and it's actually crazy how far you guys and I have come on the show reflecting on previous seasons is amazing with this show all the places we've been the characters we've met and lost its insane I love you guys
Daryl and Carol reminded me so much of my relationship with my best friend (for the last 42 years)...the snark! Man, I love those two. (we may or may not have had talks about just running away somewhere, when things were tough in one or the other of our lives.)
I'm with Steve: I feel bad for Ezekiel. He adores Carol, and they were so broken by Henry's death. I hope they find their way back to each other because remember - Carol NEVER grew her hair out until she got together with the King; she was never comfortable enough, or felt safe enough (personally, not walker- or Whisperer-wise) to let her hair down, but with him, she did. For that alone, he will always be King to me.
Negan earned him some work furlough for saving Judith. 🙄 🤣

The show frequently likes to pay homage to other horror icons. In this episode, that shipwrecked boat featured at the beginning is homaging Jaws. That is especially apparent if you look at those yellow barrels.
Eugene has always been a bit of a voyeur. He used to watch Abraham and Rosita go at it and they kind of let him. The best comment I heard about describing the Rosita/Gabriel/Eugene/Siddiq situation is Three Men and a Baby. I like that what could've easily been a petty rivalry between all of them is subverted into this weird family unit where they've got each other's backs.
Also while everyone seems to like the training session on the beach, everyone also seems to forget that we owe that even happening to Tara. While still at the fair and before getting taken, she organized that with Oceanside. I felt that was a nice overlooked way of paying forward the community impact she left behind.
How cute are Daryl and Connie together 😊 but then Daryl and Carol are cute too 😊

New Mexico is a nod to Breaking Bad. The creators jokingly confirmed (if that's a thing!) fan theories that Breaking Bad is a prequel to TWD and the latter actually has many Easter Eggs: Glenn's red Dodge Challenger from Season 1 is the same as Walt Jr's; Dale's RV is the same as Jessie and Walt's; Daryl has blue meth in Season 2, episode 2; Daryl mentions a janky tweaker in the episode "Still"....and many more. There are online articles about it. Just beware of spoilers!

really nice start to the season, went through pretty much everybody and saw what they are up to, got a nice set up for whats to come at the end :) papa Negan working as a gardener how nice :D and once again he is close with a kid :P
Wow, I actually forgot about Fear the Walking Dead until Steve mentioned it. I only watched 1st season, would be nice if you guys start watching it. We can catch up together heh
They may have messed up the time lapse since last season. I think they said Rosita's baby is 3 months old, which would put this season around 12 months after the end of last season - but it can't be, since it would be winter again. So I guess this season starts a year and a half later? I don't know. There are tomatoes - which means this episode probably takes place in August. If the snowstorm was in December, that would be an 8 month time jump - but if Rosita's baby is 3 months old, then that means Rosita was 4 months pregnant at the end of last season? that doesn't seem to be the case. maybe. actually, there was a small time jump between episode 15 and 16 last season, so yeah, Rosita would have been about 4 months pregnant. Haha. Okay, I worked this out in real-time. This episode takes place about 8 months after the snow storm -- likely in August.
Season's 5 & 4 are still my personal faves but 9 is definitely up there. Can't believe y'all are on 10 already!

Started looking for a TWD reaction channel mid july 2022, found a couple but everyone quit watching early on.. I thought, lets give Duo reacts a shot, (i like multi person reactions because of the conversations and ideas that are brought up) happy to say Ive watched every single episode and today I’m starting your reactions from season 10. Ive seen the walking dead multiple times, mainly the early seasons cause I re watched the whole show every time a new season came out, up until season 6.. can’t wait to start the newest season, and see the reactions as they come out weekly. This shows been a huge part of my life.. when it came out, I was in the fifth grade, Im now 4 years graduated from highschool and this shows been with me every step of the way, grew up watching the show, seeing carl age at the same time I did, watching other characters develop over the years, feeling the loss of character deaths.. Im happy steve and Lacey enjoy it just as much as I do.
