Well said & explained.
On my experience, induction should be done a day before the work starts especially for long term work period why because if they arrive the same day the construction department will want it to be done fast. Doing it fast will not cover the reason for the induction.
I disagree on refusing Induction because of expired QID especially if is within Moi grace period.
There is also biased safety managers who refuses certain national in their team. Refusing such will affect doing induction in different language if required.
In general, project management should agree on how induction should be carried out based on different situation that may arise.
