Well said & explained. On my experience, induction should be done a day before the work starts especially for long term work period why because if they arrive the same day the construction department will want it to be done fast. Doing it fast will not cover the reason for the induction. I disagree on refusing Induction because of expired QID especially if is within Moi grace period. There is also biased safety managers who refuses certain national in their team. Refusing such will affect doing induction in different language if required. In general, project management should agree on how induction should be carried out based on different situation that may arise. Thank you all again for the presentation & contributors.

Guys, It was an interesting topic honestly & the presentation & contributions were excellent. Modern day slavery will continue as far as human being exists. Preventing or reducing it will require both side of coin & as well stepping on toes but ask yourself how many people or organizations are willing or ready to step on toes 😁🤣 Also, trying to make an impact they see you as enemy of progress or the folks you want to fight for their rights don’t even appreciate or care. Majority of people or organization just want what will benefits them only (income/Profits) Honestly, since I was born & started work home & abroad I have seen different times of slavery. On point bro 👍🏾 Like you said environment/ Society matters as well because when one is driving safely but others are not driving safely it will have a negative impact on him or her. I work in contact with Qatar Traffic Police, there comments regarding public safety or driving is not encouraging but they are doing their best in this regard. Most companies will tell you they don’t have the funds or time for the program. Good awareness bro 👍🏾🏆

The presentations was great…👍🏾 Continuous Overtime (long hours) is not good. Reducing calls during work hours can help manage fatigue. More awareness in our work, home & society at large is required. Good job, please.

This was an interesting topic session but is not generally implemented in workstations. Mostly neglected & is more reason we have illness/pains week in & out with employees. Monthly checklists are mere formality in most cases. Good job guys 👍🏾

Hey Guys, Mr Johnson your last example was scary bro but it's part of what we see in construction sites so far. There is so many SIMOPS work in which the HSE department doesn't know about. This was a great workshop, am glad I listened. I will also want to any one to grab this book called; What Happened To You; by Bruce D. Perry (M.D., Ph.D) & Oprah Winfrey. The book also talking about what was discussed but in a more deeper way with other situations. The platform is getting better & better..good job guys.

Nice one again team…you guys did great job on the topic discussed. A safe workplace is the sole responsibility of all in the company but lyes mainly & accountably with top management. In my opinion, safety should be scraped away from Construction team. Safety should come in as an advisor, make recommendations & issue violation/penalty when repeated & high risk noncompliance is observed. I believe with that Safety will be valued, respected & taking seriously in construction industry or sector. Thanks again guys.
