I am liking this channel a lot because you remind us all that restorative yoga is necessary and important for everyone. Too many celebrity yoga teachers are telling the world how wonderful they are with their handstands and backflips etc, and it pretty much scares people away ! Being a beginners yoga teacher, I really appreciate these videos and I learn how you guys instruct the audience. Thank you!
Anybody else been doing this routine regularly for the last 6 years? I have not always been consistent but this is my goto when I feel myself needing to relax, and have the capacity to actually do some self care.
This is my favorite yoga video so far, and I tend to turn it on late at night just before bed. I don't watch it as much as I do listen. I particularly like her message of self-acceptance, the way she really wants you to do the moves as your body allows, to love yourself fully, and not judge yourself negatively. I've done a lot of searching for other such videos but am not having much luck. I would love to see more like this one.
I have been struggling with anxiety and depression a lot for the last few months, and I with the help of my husband, finally decided to take to some time for myself. I have never felt that comfortable with yoga, I am very much a beginner and feel uncomfortable around others. I googled beginner relaxing yoga videos, and chose yours. This was just what I needed. There were so many things in this 20 minutes I had no idea I needed to hear. Thank you. So much.
Alicia I am SO glad you looked and found the answer to your struggle!!! I have found a stress-relieving practice (that is kind of religious) that works for me. Let me tell you about it. It is repeating a mantra. I read a great book (the Mantram Handbook) that outlines how you use the mantra, what you need to do. It is basically this; you develop a phrase that's religious (mine is Jesus is with me) and repeat it over and over whenever you have time (doing the dishes, walking the dog, etc.) And that is it. Also, when you have a scary or stressful experience (the boss gets mad, I want to clobber one of my students but can't, my husband starts pissing me off, etc.). It really works, is fun and easy, is relaxing, helps you to see that you don't need to get stressed out about the small stuff, it brings you closer to God. You could develop one that is not religious (I love all people, all people are good, life is beautiful, etc.) God be with you!!!

Had to leave another comment. This is my favorite morning workout! It helps stretch my back and hips sooo much, and alleviates that pain I wake up with every morning. I tried getting yoga videos, and what not. But for in the morning and in general I like your slow calm soothing pace, and your aura is sooo beautiful. Thank you I love all your routines. Wish you would make dvds as my laptop is sometimes slow.
I have just discovered Cindie's videos after trying several others, and hers are my favorite!!! Thank you! I really enjoyed this video today. It was so relaxing even with a toddler running around, jumping, screaming, and climbing on me. But the best part was when my little one joined in for a couple of poses :) Will be coming back for more!

Wow, Cindie, I want to thank you for this 20 minute relaxation routine. I've been getting over a minor cold that has left me pretty drained and my whole body sore. I literally did this after doing a pretty intense workout and I feel sooooo much better. I can't thank you enough. It was so nice to do this stretch and relieve all this tension in my muscles. My body, mainly my legs, were so tensed. I have been working out hardcore for a week and I forgot to add in a yoga day. The 5th day I felt like stone so I decided to do this routine and my aches and tense bones just melted! Thanks so much!! I love this channel so much! I do yoga everyday now!

Cindie has been one of my favourite yoga instructors for years. I started yoga age 63? now am 69 and feeling better and better. Very oftenwe don t feel like doing all those difficult poses and Cindie's workouts are perfect for those days as well as for all others cases when you want just to fall into yourself and feel each muscle, eacjh joint in the body! This has been an incredible experience of stress relief! 😃 I suffered a t1 fracture from a car collision and have always carried stress across my entire shoulder/ collar bone level. After completing this routine for the first time yesterday, I am back at it today and have seen positive results, not only with stress relief, but range of motion in my cervical and thoracic spine. Thanks for the help!
this was really helpful for addressing some of my tenser spots from sitting at a desk job all summer. i'll definitely be coming back to this until i've worked through them, the stretches were hard but in a good way!

TY So much !! I m quite disabled,, and can easily do this (I've been crossing my legs since a child and am in my mid 50s). I find this quite easy to do,,, and I Totally enjoy this.
As a chronic pain sufferer I couldn't make it through all the exercises.... But I tried and I'm going to use this video everyday until I can finish the whole thing :)

its the first time ive done yoga im a very big lady to and this has really helped me with stress relief and made me feel relax and also sweat im very happy with it for a person like me to enjoy yoga doing it for the first time it has to be good.. your really good at it and helped me a lot .. my bodys aching but I enjoyed it and i actually felt light headed and eased
First time trying yoga for me - it was nice! I'm having a lot of headaches lately and I think it might be partly due to stress, so I will be trying to do these relaxing yoga exercises a couple of times per week and see if it will help. Thank you!
