    I've heard the brain likes the same meal every day. Probably why I've been eating potato chips every day since I was a kid. It also likes the time patterns. My weakest time is at 3pm, that's when I got home from school and was starving and ate everything I could find until my mother got home from work. It makes sense to replace these old patterns with new ones the brain can create. I'm going to try this with everything I do to see if I can replace the bad ones with good one. Thanks! P.S. I don't look at body-builder videos but your title made me watch, now I'm remembering getting Rachel McLish's book when I was in my 20's. She inspired me, too!

    Good video and info for someone like me who struggles with eating healthy. RIP on the sound going out - "A good way to get away from the scale is.." no sound I like your sense of humor. I'd love the info about portions. While veggies don't add a lot in calories, I'm wondering if you still want to maintain a reasonable portion size because your body still has to process it all.

    Thanks Dana for sharing but I have a few questions
    You said that was enough for two days so does that mean you eat those meals for breakfast lunch and dinner?
    Do you have only three total meals a day?
    Snacks?
    Do you have a day like once a week were you allow yourself to make some protein pancakes or something like that?
    I'm sure I am way overeating and that's why I'm not reaching my goals but those meals one for breakfast one for lunch one for dinner does not seem like nearly enough calories or food for me.... And you are buffed to the max so I'm trying to figure out how it's enough calories for you unless you're eating other things also?
    Thanks for the help...I need it😮

    • @loveisallthatmatters21
      @loveisallthatmatters21 11 месяцев назад

      @@krystiehill1782I know it's a little unconventional but I bet you that's what helps keep her on track also is not a lot of variation.
      I know for me whenever I eat something new and I like it I want more and more of it.... It's almost better if I don't love the food but I only like the food do you know what I mean?
      She obviously is incredibly shredded and has an incredible physique but it's still hard to believe that those three meals are all she eats in a day because the calorie count is so low...

    4:39 I was just thinking earlier how I’ve learned so much from eating static, but how long term it can snag me up if I don’t change it up a bit. I can’t eat 6x/day. Typically 2x/day. But as far as periodization goes I’ve found internal inflammation increases week to week until I’ve reached my 4th active recovery fatigue reduction week. 3rd week being full throttle I have to eat the science healthiest with food high in enzymes & probiotics, low inflammatory & no sensitivities. I feel it’s like everything else a sign of seasoned polish keeping the regimen tight & smooth running. My fat oils vary, coconut, flax, hemp seed (GAMA), *black seed. Aside from the GLA I try to keep it Omega3 friendly.
    I’m a single guy, so my kitchen will has it’s limits, but I’ve been reading The Probiotic Diet & Eat Dirt, but you wouldn’t believe how much I read all across the board. Tons of nutrition & sports science. I’ve do just about everything wrong first. 😁🤫

    • @Southernburrito
      @Southernburrito 11 месяцев назад

      It was good. I don’t cook good in my opinion. I eat like a caveman. Everything is focused around the art of no gas, & minimal fuss 😆. A week long supply of ziplock baked chicken for a decade has its disadvantages. The tricks are so artful with their dosing manner between kimchi & secrets with sheep’s & goats cheese, but you got to get the right kind, consume the right quantity the right way. It’s crazy from my perspective. A cup of that wallaby yogurt for breakfast is pretty awesome stuff, & I guess they’re growing that in California too, or milk mixing it 😆
      I like to keep my macros even if I’m doing IF, but exceptions pending on the experimenting of food diversifications. I gotta get that nutrients, I gotta keep the inflammation down & I gotta have the little additive tricks that keep us/me/humans comfortable. Working hard tears it, especially over time. Unless I’m missing something.? I can be a creature of excess & extremes when it comes to pushing myself. Everything’s so tempered now, I miss being young & all out crazy on it. Gotta protect the guts…
      Thanks for the show 👍🏻
