Dude you are very good at this, fantastic and straightforward guidance. Double AA disease is a malignancy, but honestly this is the biggest opportunity to serve a huge growing group of AA players. Many higher quality AA players, no they’ll never be AAA quality, but are currently playing alongside A+/- line mates. D2 teams should be exploding with fun talent over the next 10 years.
Been in Hockey for 6o years Advisors ? it a waste in my opinion Most never played at high level or can not do not want to get a real job They teams find the good players They do not need input from :advisors That's why they have scouts The best thing an aspiring player can do is go to as many summer camps both instructional and tryout as they can especially where the coaches are directly involved Nothing like being on the ice with a coach ( who makes the calls) then he may have an assistant take a look at the player in a game situation I went to a camp taught by mostly OHA players ( Way back in the 60's ) on their way to the NHL A recommendation from this type pf player to their junior team goes a long way and will get you invited to camp And remember most if not all of the CHA teams have affiliated Junior B /Tier II teams they work with .How many times because of injury etc have you seen players move up .? Another idea play in a adult league in the summer or spring with a lot of College alumni players maybe even some ECHL AHL players home for the summer They can call the coach and he will at least send out someone to look at the player I am thinking of all the great summer hockey they have in the Boston area in the summer Lot of referrals
Yes, most advisors won't take you on if you have another advisor. To let go of an advisor, just send them an email saying you no longer require their services!
