People working out at home with nothing but dumbbells and barbells are the most ripped guys out there. They do the same exercises over and over again for years. There aren't a lot of options for them to work with, so they don't waste time and get right to it. This man is living proof for it. Love you sir❤.
I have dumbells, bench (homemade), pull-up bar, push-up bar and I always get comments from my friends on my physique, even ones that go gym. I can do a good PPL split hitting every muscle twice. Don’t have to leave home, I work from home so it’s convenient, 1.5-3min rest time depending on exercise, 60-80min total work out 5-6 days a week. Very easy to be consistent with home gym. Edit: soon I will start back at the gym again for the cable machine mostly and to push myself with heavy weights for legs.
Two issues: 1) When doing goblet squats make sure your knees do not fall inside or collapse. 2) When doing dead lifts make sure your back will keep straight, do not round it.
How come whenever I do squats and stuff my heart rate beats really fast over a short amount of time maybe like at the 7 rep mark. I have to stop because the pounding feeling from my heart racing makes me feel funny. It’s annoying
Well I think it's all based on what your ultimate goal is.... Are you doing situps just for fun and at random times or you're actually trying to get some work in and see some results

I want to increase the number of lunges I do. However, my knees disagree with me.
How can I safely do more of this magnificent exercise?
Maybe try holding onto an elastic attatched to a ceiling, might lessen some of the weight on your knees? See if theres a way you can make that work
