Great Information... Hey G can you make a video with a step-by-step of starting a LLC in Texas... With all the LINK's we will need to apply, this is a much needed video and how to as no one really talks about it in how to get started.... Thank You
Writing off food and coffee is kinda over board that’s how you will get in trouble with the IRS. A tax write off is a business necessity. Cleaning supplies, business trips, the food you buy on the business trip, vehicle maintenance, software you use for invoices, insurance and anything else that you use of importance to run a business will be a tax write off. The food you make at your house and bring to work or the monster you buy at the gas station doesn’t count. the people working construction or a regular 9-5 aka getting paid buy someone else that’s not you. They would write it off in their taxes at the end of the year. Which we don’t because it’s not a business necessity. It’s even a gray area to write of power tools because they are a counted as a long lasting item.
That’s cause all they care about is pushing products, I care about the business aspect of detailing, and how to make a living doing it! Two different worlds.
I funded my business equipment and advertising with my personal checking account before getting my business checking account. I already had my EIN I just didn’t have time to get the business account yet. Will I still be able to write off this?
I can’t really say yes or no, but if you have the receipts saved, I would talk to a tax person and ask them about that. Cause you don’t event mix business money with personal money.
Hey man just a question... when a new mobile detailer pops up, does it feel like they're tryna take some business from you? Or is it a welcome addition? I been thinking about doing this for a few weeks in the north Austin area.
Just depends man, you have to understand in my eyes I’m cool with it, I always just try to give tips and advice but for the most part people don’t listen 🤦🏽♂️, but other detailers that may not have a lot of clients or are struggling they might feel some type of way. But honestly I wouldn’t worry about that in the beginning stage I would worry about trying to find clients and focus on finding the products you like and fit your business and your efficiency!
@@GzDetailingLLC for sure. I'm still full time 9-5 but I'm at the point where I'm just getting practice on some friends cars, in like a 'pay what you want' setup until I get better at it 🙏
@@drifter233 gotta start somewhere man, and definitely don’t recommend to drop everything a go full into detailing, I worked 4 jobs before I said I’m going full on!
