Basically the whole map is considered a safe zone or game zone since watsonn's father made the ring that damages you, ofcourse it would be logical to make a safe area. Remember when season 2 crypto caused a ruckus destroying a tower? And the announcer ordered an evacuation. It is possible that the game zone ring was damaged so they had to cancel it right away
Tower is created to keep off the giant leviathans. So as it was destroyed leviathans came in and started to destroy everything. They just couldn't fix the tower without stopping the games, so Apex games are now running in the World End
what I still see people getting wrong basically is the fact that other contestants compete in the apex games other then just the legends. You can see the other contestants fighting alongside or against the legends on the magazine that blisk stabs in the first trailer. The fact that we all use the same legends in game is nothing more then a gameplay limitation since they aren't going to create thousands characters just so it can accurate to lore. Now about the respawn mechanic, i think how it works is that the apex games only respawns the best or the most popular contestants. There are two ways you can get respawned your teammates grab your banner card( it holds the contestant's consciousness within along with your dna so they make perfect physical copy of your previous body) they bring it to the respawn beacon and your mind along with the schematics for new body are uploaded to a cloning machine. Then the newly respawned contestant is ready for deployment. The second way is if you are deemed a valuable/popular asset by the apex games your conscience will already be held by the respawn systems so if your banner isn't recovered for whatever reason the apex games don't lose their most valuable contestants aka the legends we know and love. But this respawn safety can be revoked if the syndicate feels like you aren't doing so hot anymore in the apex games( You are no longer valuable to them) the next time you die could be your last. Which makes octane's commentary make sense if you lucky enough to be worthy of a second chance they will respawn you. In addition to the perks of having a respawn safety net because they are valuable assets they given more leeway with what they can take into the games with them. Like for instance Gibraltar and Bangalore have their own orbital weapons systems. Im sure that normally any random contestant wouldn't be able to use that in the apex games but since they are famous they make a exception for them. This also probably the reason pathfinder gets away with tampering with the survey beacons and essentially cheating since he knows the next ring location. So basically it would be in every contestants best interest to become a legend because you end up with a respawn safety net in addition to having other perks
I think there's a piece of equipment they use to maybe teleport back to the ''respawn chamber''. And the "lucky" part maybe refers to: if your teammates can bring you back to the game.

Most popular legends stay alive, ones that the fans don't like actually die. (Such as Gibraltars friends) That's the reason why every legend we see is very charismatic and has important perks and personalities because without interesting contestants there is no entertaining show. Also for the very first opening Apex Games teaser trailer, it shows two other men that are competing in the Apex games that are never seen again as playable legends both being beaten by Wraith meaning they were not popular enough to be brought back as contestants.
@@mosentheworld8831 really? You are talking about a different trailer then, I am talking about the one that includes the newspaper. It shows two men being attacked by Wraith, one is bald and has combat gear on as he gets thrown through a wall.
Gibraltars back story says he joined after losing freinds and octane does say "... if you're lucky" so it's possible it fails some percentage of the time
When Mirage dies first in the Train mode the announcer (which is Mirage) says: "Somebody died first, who was it?... was it, was it me? Really?" Such a good Easter egg but also makes me think that they are also aware of the battle and stuff and probably their real selves are somewhere else
Maybe the legends memories stay intact due to stacks [like in Altered Carbon] so the body still dies but a new body gets the memories] also would explain how Watson grew up knowing all the legends but doesn't appear to have an age difference between them.
This video doesn’t explain how there can be multiple versions of the same legend in one game. I think they are clones. All of the legends were winners at one point. I think they take their dna and clone them and keep them fighting and when they win or lose they take these memories and implant them into a better version of the legend in order to truly make an apex predator. Kinda like in the movie “edge of tomorrow” but with clones I think you might be onto something
@@CarlosMarquez-ir3hi So my theory is, the syndicate thrives on money and fame for its games, people started getting interested in some of the contenders, hence the syndicate called them "Legends" The face of the apex games. The apex games aren't filled with legends, they're normal people competing alongslide famous contenders which are legends. The syndicate prevents the legends from dying so they can still keep a show up. If a normal contender gets famous enough and builds more money and ratings and being skillful for the syndicate, the syndicate will declare them as legends. The legends never die quote happens here. They prevent their main competetors from dying. Gibraltar joins the games to protect his friends? Well, not much legends are fond of gibraltar, so he means he protects his friends that are not legends but they still compete. So he wins their matches for them to prevent them from dying because they do not come back because they aren't legends. He protects his non legend friends that still compete for money. He doesn't want them to die, because even though they die he'll be alive to see them gone. In the first season 3 loading screen, cryptos first match; at this time im guessing he wasn't a legit legend even though he hacked his way into the games. He states he has broken bones and ribs from his first game but survives and wins. Then later on, we know that the syndicate knows he is Tae Jun Park but as long they have an eye on him and keeps the fans entertained for money and ratings, they'll keep crypto safe. What do they mean safe? They make and declare him a legend, everytimes he dies, the syndicate prevents him from dying, like every other legend. We know that the games aren't filled with ability based people because in the first trailer where blisk is in, wraith was fighting two unknown people which aren't legends, but normal contenders competing. The legit game has duplicates of legends fighting each other but thats just for game play wise, I'm talking lore.
@@CarlosMarquez-ir3hiI think with the multiple legends of the same person… that’s just a feature of playing the video game not at all tied into the lore. Just like with Mortal Kombat you will fight against a non Shang Tsung version of yourself lol None of the trailers and cinematics show multiples of the same character.
My Theory: when legends die they drop a box containing their items and the banner, the banner contains the last state of consciousness the legend had before his death. when the banner is delivered to the respawn station, the respawn station sends the consciousness to the respawn chamber where it instantly injects the consciousness into a prebuilt body that is being transported later via the respawn ship. this explains why the legend can be respawned even after being thrown into the void by wraith finisher, and it doesn't conflict with what octain says..
I would agree with this, but if they can take out a chip that basically has memories and more on it, it stands to reason with available technology that they could read that chip. This would reveal crypto's secret pretty fast.
Best theory so far. I can agree with how their consciousness is transferred to other clones with the body. Probably why you can respawn your teammates really fast if you're right next to a respawn beacon. That's also why they say quotes which is them saying they're back in the game, like how lifeline says 'I neva quit, 'memba that." and Octane says "back in the game"
I feel like they just die, but then they are just alive again. Doesn’t need to be explained, haven’t gotten explained in other FPS games like Call of Duty games so why would it have to be explained in Apex?
If I'm not wrong Mirage has a personality disorder which makes him socially awkward and since he probably had friends who enjoyed being around him until they found out about his real personality. Just like other people who have very little friends he's scared that they, the legends will actually dislike him for who he truly is. His mom also forgot about him, his brothers died in a war, and his father is dead so of course he has some mental problems.
@@monkewithagat8733 Which is also the reason why he created this charismatic persona of himself - in order for people to finally like him and in order for him to receive the love and attention he wanted - thus, creating a somewhat funnier and more likeable "decoy" of himself.
I find the real Mirage more relatable and is a cool person. I really find it funny, yet painful whenever he talks to himself when he is the last member of the team.
Mirage has always had little to no self esteem. Given his stuttering and mispronounciation of certain words he likely developed an ego to help combat his social issues and self esteem troubles. Its why he always brags and loves to be the center of attention.
The only problem with the theory is how Revanant wanted to die because whenever he died his conscience would be uploaded to a new body, meaning that he was basically being tortured, which doesn't seem that much different than what the other legends would have to go through according to this theory.
@@shitbucks6522 his editing is on point his audio is good, it's a whole mad process to get to where he is and out of the current RUclipsrs following the Apex trend he is doing really well and my favourite
Love your theories, so here's mine for you to look at: I am thinking that the game lore is viewable, as mentioned before, with a distinct line between mechanics that are lore based and gameplay based. One does not necesseraly influence the other, such as the fact that we have multiple clones of the same legend running around, which is obviously implied to be interpreted as a gemaply mechanic rather than lore. And I think that the best way to look at this question is to: "Assume that there is a way to bring a killed individual back to life within the Titanfall universe, which is accessable to the Commitie." and - and here's the tricky part - to leave it at that. I cannot begin to stress just how detremental it is to try and explain death mechanics via lore. I distinctly remember the utter disappointment that was Unreal Tournament 3, where the devs tried to shoehorn in ''respawners'' when the blood sport became a war-esque affair. The trick here, I think, is to avoid this topic altogether other than a thought experiment to see if someone can provide a lore-friendly way to explain this, but for the average fan and lover of Apex Legends and its characters, to simply narrow it down that ''they get undeaded in a respawn chamber and probably do that the moment they are killed, as they are already waiting in the dropship to see if their surviving squadmates can revive them''. I assume the process is, moreso for the sake of simplicity, painless and quick. To the point that the legends can joke about it - see: quips during redeployment. There is one more thing I want to suggest though, that this also explains how Crypto was talking about his first injuries. This simply means that he got through a match without getting knocked or respawned. Until we see other Respawn lore bits or flavor text how he says stuff like ''Too bad X wasn't as lucky, he had his face melted through by Bang's charge rifle. He is still giving her some nasty looks in the dropship.'' or something similar. Either way, nice video and hope you do more lore stuff soon.
There is a way to make dead people come back to life... Simulacrums, Titan Pilots whose minds had been downloaded onto a harddrive in case they died. When they did, their mind would be uploaded into a simulacrum body.
I think that when legends die, they’ll be automatically transported to a respawn chamber. The kill animations are probably sims (especially the more gory ones like Wattson disintegrating the downed legend) and are sort of a way to show off to fans. But because this technology is pretty complex (literally bringing people back to life) I think it might fail some of the time, still giving a certain amount of danger to the games. So, although death is unlikely (in the event that the respawn chamber would fail), there’s still a sense of danger to the games.
@@marrqi7wini54 But don't they just take part in another game, even if they died in the previous ones? There has to be some sort of mechanism that respawns the legend even if their banner doesn't get reclaimed, that way they can take part in the next match. There wouldn't be Apex games if over 90% of the teams would just die in the first match.
So nobody's talking one of octane voiceline says to pick him that hes so bored hinting he knows that there in a game. And maybe crypto whats to reveal the truth like clones being illegal
There's a clip of wraith saying something like "smile your on tv". also they could be picked for certain squads before they drop and octane could be saying that because someone is choosing which squad he's on.
Well not every legends probably in an apex game.he could easily be telling whoever chooses the teams(if a human even does) to just put him on a team in general
I feel like the movie *Altered Carbon* can explain the respawning method in Apex, in the movie people "respawn" with some sort of implant they had that contains their DNA/memories etc 😄
In titanfall there are well i cant remember the names but somekind of android/improved body that contains the consciousness of a human so i think they are being cloned and their consciousness is transfered into the clones
I personally think it's something like The Gamer where they might be controling a different entity like, say, a clone. While the respawn chamber is like a lobby room at a hospital, someplace for the legends, with their clone now dead, can sit and spectate the other clones still fighting in the arena, this way it also makes the spectate mode canon
I think "If your lucky" implies that sometimes they don't come back. it could just be if a body is to badly damaged or the banner is destroyed. but i think its most fun if its a sort of points system. like maybe if you die to many times or to often they just don't bring you back. and you have to keep winning to keep living through the games
I had a couple of ideas about respawning: One is that the reason respawning is available is because there is some sort of field around the maps (which is why they have to stay in a small selection of places) that captures the legends conciseness when they die and then creates a new body to put that conciseness in. However with this explanation, you could ask “then why didn’t they just put Watson in there when she could have died and killed her to let her respawn?”. So my other idea is the one I think is better. Basically the apex games are still in real life, but when the legends go in, they enter the games as hard light holograms developed to such a level where entire molecules can be created from photons, meaning you can create flesh from light, while the conciseness and real body remains elsewhere. This would require a ridiculous amount of energy, which is why the apex games can not take place anywhere random, as it has to be under a certain energy field which would be hidden under all the maps that these hard light body’s draw power from.
From one of the crypto loading screens where he sends a message to his adoptive mother mystikk he says that he finished his first game with only 2 broken ribbs which isnt bad for his first game, that and octanes new voiceline makes me believe that everything that happens is real and that the legends get hurt however they get teleported and replenished in the chamber or they get cloned from a template which updates every second until they die. But i doubt that because who in their right mind would accept this since its not you who gets replenished but rather a complete identical of you who is essentially another organism just with the same memories and body. So i think we can rule out any cloning and assume that real deaths can happen in the arena since gibraltar and lifeline have gone there to protect the contestants from dying and that they essentially teleport back to the respawn chamber when taking near-lethal damage/ on another note maybe the armor they wear has a hit value and is some type of super armor where it doesnt allow them to get hurt a lot, thus crypto didnt die but instead got 2 broken ribs, and maybe when that armor goes to 0 and they get hit beyond downed hp value they get teleported back. And those advanced effects like wattsons incineration could be a hologram after they teleport.

I believe there are more legends competing already. We just never see them in trailers for marketing reasons. What makes no sense is why not use the respawn chamber in the real world of apex to Revitalise real people?, so maybe to use the chamber it costs ALOT of money, but since The apex games are very fortunate with money, Respawning with in the games would be free or just much cheaper to afford. That’s just my theory.
From lore we know that the people behind the apex games are evil and corrupt, so it would make since if they wanted to keep this amazing technology to themselves.
I think it's like the wargames map in Titanfall, kind of a simulation, they probably project holograms to the real map. Or they just get teleported to a medical center every time they die.
Could relate to Banners in a way; perhaps it's similar to the tech used to transfer simulacrum memories from the human body to the robot body? The banner sort of "stores" the Legend's memories and when the banner is given to the respawn beacon, it transmits that to the respawn chamber?
I always thought that the legends could be clones controlled by neural link, this accounts for there being several of each person in every match. Each time a legend is selected, a new clone is selected from the respawn chamber and the neural link is established to the player.
Saying this before I watch the video, don't they respawn in new bodies? like clones or copies? (Octane says "you'll warm up in the respawn chamber in one of his voice lines") would also kinda explain why there are multiple versions on the same character, They're clones basically
Ven Imagine if they are all clones and the actual legends are receiving money only for the use of their image, being in other planets ir something while the clones fight for tem
In the context of the story there is only one of each character. If you saw the season 3 trailer it shows them each getting paired with 2 other legends and then they all go into the ring and fight each other. Obviously for real gameplay only 11 people per match and people taking each other's preferred legends wouldn't be good gameplay at all. So in the game there are multiple legends in each game but in the context of the story it is just the 11 legends pairing up and fighting together.
@@griffinmietzner In context of the story? Can you tell me where to look cos everything I've seen has shown multiple of the same legends at one point or another. You also mentioned the season 3 trailer, you see Bloodhound die then comeback later, same with Gibby, Octane, Mirage and Path, you see Bangalore die like 3 times lol, and there was another trailer with Wraith and Mirage I remember seeing and it's the same thing, you see the same legends die over and over again or fighting each other
@@Ven_detta_ Nothing implies it's the same match in every scene. It could just be Gibby, Octane, Mirage, Path and Bangalore dying once per match. If they're constantly being respawned and redeployed, and they keep their memories of having fought with/against each other, then there's no reason to over-analyze that bit.
Crazy that we have video games to have fun and escape reality. Yet we try and apply the rules of reality and logic to these video games. Do we really want to go down this road? Questioning anything and everything that seems impossible in video games? If that’s the case, it’s going to be a long day.
Lots of games have complex lore behind them, and that's what makes people enjoy them more. A good lore has to have a logical explanation for everything, and no plot-holes. Fan theories are also something that connects/enchances the community and brings more interest into solving certain things. I think a logical lore is definetly a good thing to have for a game, especially in Apex.
I think that it’s something with the banners.they clearly have holographic technology so they could easily use the banners as data chips or whatever and put that into a simulacram, than put a hologram like mirages over them.its not likely but it’s possible
My theory is that in this universe the tecnology of desintegration and reintegration is real, when the legends die, their bodies are desintegrated and reintegrated in the respawn chamber, where their bodies are repaired. That would explain the respawn mechanic because the spaceship/plane/flying thing that bring us back to life could be just a reintegrator; the seringes could be just personal batteries that charge our personal reintegrator, and the shield cells would be batteries too; that would explain how our bodie desintegrates into a box full of loot, or how the loot is placed and replaced in the map.
"We are all just data, waiting to be deleted." I believe that the legends joined the games and are now permanantely saved in the games, which would explain why there can be multiple wraiths or lifelines together, they are all data and the respawn chamber just keeps cloning them.
Didn't you know the lore? Bangalore fought in the frontier wars, so did mirages brothers. Wraith was a pilot and octane did the gauntlet to it is pretty much cannon that apex is after Titanfall.

That Octane voice line made me think the same thing! SUPER INTERESTING THOUGH is the "IF YOU'RE LUCKY" part. And the announcer voice saying "Legends auto respawning with full gear" gave me chills. Lore chills. Didn't Gib say he lost people for real to the Games? Here's my theory: If Legends remain popular with the fans, and successful, they get to keep respawning. If they don't meet a certain quota of success and/or fans, they risk real death. They won't be respawned. What do you guys think?
Theory: So, you know how collecting banners works in apex so if your entire team dies or your banner expires the organizers collect your banner and put it in a respawn beacon so you can play in the next game OR everyone os just a clone of the real legend and even if the clone dies, a new clone can be used
I THINK... its like borderlands 3 there is a "respawn beacon" which regens them and builds all their body up and their tissue, muscles etc with their consciousness saved in a computer
All borderlands have this but it's possible. Haven't played borderlands 3 yet, what company respawns you? In 2 it's Hyperion and in presequel it's Dahl. I'm not sure about 1
Borderlands respawn system is *NOT* cannon. The only reason that it belongs to hyperion was to make it fit into the game. Or why do you think Roland got killed by one bullet in Borderlands 2?
It's not a simulation. The games are like wrestling where they're "fake", but the hits and such they take (bullets, grenade explosions, and more) are real, but also healable due to the technology in the Titanfall universe.
That's so crazy that someone said that. I was thinking the same thing in the way that when legends die they don't really die, instead all they do is just come back in something like a chamber because they're in like some virtual reality or simulation type thing. the thought that it is similar to the titanfall regeneration except the only memories that they lose is of them waiting to get revived to go back in that virtual reality.
I think of it like that the legends have some kind of amor or equipment on them that teleports them to the respawn chamber when it reaches zero but also sends a signal to all respawn devices so that if your teammates manage to revive you, it basically just teleports you back from the respawn chamber to the field of battle. So their not dying but kinda in like a waiting room until they get revived or go to the next game.
Maybe the respawn chamber is a place where legends go after death and Gibraltar friends may have been forgotten and left in the chamber or maybe died in the chamber another thing is though now that revenant is released and is a killing machine it may not make sense if revenant is a killing machine but is like a family after the games are over I also have another thing legends maybe do die but maybe there all just robots being programmed to shoot one another and they put fake lore behind legends because crypto may already know he’s a robot and is trying too expose the syndicate for that reason and they may have different models for them or legends have there soul in banners and then they heal the body of the legend then put the soul inside using the advanced technology they have
As someone who dove into the Quake Arena lore, it doesn't sound as ludicrous. In the Arenas, gladiators are picked off from different worlds to combat in the Arenas for the enjoyment and using their skills to fight. When lets say an opponent gets blasted away by a shotgun or gibbed by a rocket, their bodyparts and "spirit" so to speak is instantly taken to the respawn chambers to heal, attach and respawn their bodies in less than 3 seconds. The technology is incredible that even if you get melted by the sheer power of the BFG 10K, you can still be put together in a space of 3 seconds. Pretty nifty how in APEX Legends, they would make a respawn chamber and adding a way to keep the lore of Titanfall in line, its pretty cool! I like details like that, even if I have never played a Titanfall title [though I want to] and everytime I read more into the lore, the more exciting it really is.
I think it's a mix of a few theories. 1. It's a simulation for the purpose of the t.v. aspect for fans. The respawn room being a part of that to load up (for the winter event where legends have gear already) or simply wait for the next match. But...at the same time they have real accomplishments in real life like octane losing legs. Where they meet fans etc. Or maybe there are matches in both? For training and regular matches sim. and real for ranked.
my theory is the legend is implanted with a chip that sends the data of what they see, feel, smell etc etc realtime. and when a legend die, all that data is then injected into a ready made clones. ready for drop. so if there's more than 1 of the same legend, it's because they copy literally everything to the clone. and the surviving team's clone get to be the real one. the respawn chamber is just what they call the clone storage room. because it's cooler that way.
Eh I don’t agree I think when they die they’re spirits of conscious is in they’re banned and when the games are finished People get the banners and put them in the Respawn chamber and they fight another day. And I think the two of the same legends in one place are Non canon just for gameplay
My theory: The "Respawn Chamber" is a sort of advanced version (or altered version) of the regeneration chambers in titanfall. The primary difference is the retainment of memories being vital over what pilots get by regenerating. The respawning process would be expensive, hence why gibby joined (new competitors might not be able to afford the process, so if they die in the games, that's it). The legends are simply repeat winners, able to afford the process easily so if they die, oh well. Another thing this addresses is respawning in game, your "banner" essentially holds all your memories, that's why you need to pick up banners to respawn, this also addresses Wattson's finisher. Since the target still drops a box and their banner. I can go in depth if anyone likes and questions are always welcome, this has been my theory since day one with only minor tweaks.
You got a point there but if you focus on Mirage lines he says so many things that might reflect that they are in some sort of advanced simulation in addition the trailer for season 3 shows that they know each other pretty well but like they don’t get to choose their teammates it’s happens randomly.
Brian Lee its called a joke you jackass. We have been discussing this for months. If you don’t like how I talk, you could take you own fucking advice and let people do what they want. Get off your high horse assface.
maybe the Banner of the deathbox is a "Teleporting device" that teleports the eliminated legends to a respawn chamber. if the banners got picked up and used at a "respawn beacon". those banners will gi back to those they belong to and get reactivated while the dropship brings them back from maybe an orbital Respawn Chamber. the effect when legends get eliminated is like a short ragdoll and they get instantly "disintegrated" or in that case teleported.
When you grab the tags, you're grabbing their "brain" slash "soul" and when you go to the respawn beacon its downloading their tags into a new body that gets flown in. No it's not bringing their body back, it's a new body. The old body is just gone, they died. The brain lives on in the tags and gets downloaded into a new clone body.
Plus that's why the bodies are cold. They are frozen until needed. Once the legend dies, they grab the tags which again is the brain/soul and then upload it via a respawn beacon witch then downloads the tags into a new body which was frozen. I'm not sure how anyone could think the theory in the video is correct. I'm sorry but no, just no....
How can they upload a soul into a body, there is no way to do that and to put a brain into a tag wouldn't be as simple as you think. *If* this theory is true how come the tags don't get destroyed when the person that picked them up dies. Because im pretty sure 2 people aren't picking up the same tag. Also Crypto vowed to destroy apex legends as it nearly got him killed, so why would they make clones if his body? Edit: Corrections
@@killumi_vfx uhm I'm not sure how you're trying to debate this... I mean I really cant see how your points counter mine , just being honest. Again it's a digital brain, its literally downloaded into the death box when they die. Someone grabs the tags, thus they have the brain. They can then revive them in a NEW body. I am sorry but I dont really understand your logic I mean its cut and dry the way I said it. Plus as for crypto, who cares what he vowed, the game masters are in control and not him. Plus it's just a body being cloned, and not the brain. Honestly talking about the body being reconstructed is just dumb AF. This theory works and if you cant see how it works, that's on you. This has been done in multiple movies and TV shows. Digital brain + new body = immortality and RESPAWNING... I hope I dont have to get back on here and explain more to you, so please just think about why this works before you reply.
@@killumi_vfx oh and as for why they dont get destroyed when one player picks them up and then dies, it's because they already downloaded the brain to their teams data center, now they just need to upload it into a new body... Braaaaa this is way to easy of a theory not to understand...... my god
@@killumi_vfx also see the quotes around the word soul? It's meant to be a loose to term not a legal binding contract. The point is simple, the brain/soul is downloaded into a new body - the end.
I imagine that the respawn chamber is like regeneration, and that's why the countdown timer exists on out dead box. The A Games box up all of your stuff and keep an organic code of who you were when you died. It's like everyone is starting back at a checkpoint every match, except maybe the champion. The champs might come in from the last game. So its almost like the games are evolving by makeing small generations of fighters, and keeping the best of the best, cloning them, fighting them, rinse, repeat. All for the Entertainment of others.
Game-wise, when a legend gets knocked down, they just fall down to the ground and look like they lost consciousness. A death box appears and at the same time the body disappears. I'm just here guessing they have the technology to move particles or something since the way death box disappears in-game could be related to the legends when knocked down, like particle teleportation. For me, when they receive fatal damage, they just stop when their HP is 1. For Wraith's finisher, the portal can lead to any place, like a respawn chamber or such.
If you study the deathbox, there's these open hoops on the ends of the boxes. Looks like holes to strap them down in a cargo freight or to be collected by a machine or something. I always wondered about that
I think the Apex games is a blood sport for the people of their world. This being said, they had to come up with a solution to the body count AND the combatants being of comparable skill, reliably. This lead to the Syndicate finding people they could either convince or through inception, get them into the games. After being chosen to be in the games, the "Legend" (possible explanation of Legend as follows 'an explanatory list of the symbols on a map or chart') would then be CLONED into a physically identical copy of them self and before every game would be consciously transferred into this clone as an 'Operator' virtually. When the "Legend" is killed, the 'Operator' is sent back to wait for the 'Respawn Chamber' to ready another clone and begin the transfer again. This would explain both questions of why there more than one copy of each person on the map at the same time and how that same person could die, but re-appear moments later (after you die in any game mode and are 'Respawned' by your teammates.
I think when the legends health go past a certain threshold they teleport to the respawn chamber and their death box takes their place. It's a good in game explanation for why bodies disappear after a player is eliminated and how they can come back at a respawn beacon
Also consider this, in the game Titanfall on the map War Games during the pregame loading screen your Pilot loads up a training pod, confirming the match is just a real to life simulation, so maybe the apex games are similar.
I think that the respawn chamber is some kind in of cloning device where pre-game, clones of the legends are made and their memories are uploaded to the new bodies, after they die, their clone simply takes their place and all Is well, many people mentioned Gibraltar’s friends dying in the games, so maybe that was before the syndicate had these advanced cloning devices
when you get taken out in game, you're switched with a box containing your items. Essentially you've been teleported to a respawn chamber to regenerate and prevent further damage to your body. after that you're ok and are even able to view and spectate the game yourself through your teammates. in case your teammate completes the requirement to get your banner to a beacon, then the officials airdrop your already healed body back in the game with a dropship. essentially by gameplay this makes sense. switching places with something is already used in Loba's ultimate, the technology exists.
I think when players join the games they're scanned and then replicated whenever they die in the games thus allowing for them to come back but not replacing limbs or youth when respawning them causing them to essentially be trapped as they were when they first entered the games or something
I think that the "respawning chamber" is like the ship we see in the season 3 trailer but different, like a medical bay. When the legends "die" they are just teleported to the respawning chamber, and when you respawn your teamate a ship picks them up at the respawn chamber and drops them off at the respawn beacon.
Okay I like the getting teleported away theory the best. They all something that teleports them away at the last second. That’s why octane said if you’re lucky. The bodies of your fallen enemies disappear almost instantly. Maybe you don’t your down health is just the limit before you have to leave the arena. The bodies could be some holo tech and legend is gone at the moment right before the fatal blow. Maybe it’s that perfected because of how money they spent on it.
Maybe it could be that the organization behind the Apex games are using Wraith's portal and phasing technology..maybe they are using a device that phases and teleports eliminated contestants to a particular area that being the respawn chamber at a particular time being when the player is turned into a death box.every contestant has the same limited amount of damage that they can receive as active and downed status to keep the game fair, after taking the damage they pull you out and the damage is simulated kinda like with paintballs or bbs which explains why it hurts when being eliminated as one of Mirage's respawn quips suggests.
Pretty sure they are just always connected to something like revenants ultimate. When they die, they teleport to the respwan chamber where the tech is. If their team reboots them, a ship comes and gets them from the chamber and brings them back to the battlefield
I think the key is the syringe. You use the syringe to heal, but if it were just medicine it wouldnt work on Pathfinder. That means it has to be nanotech for repairing damage. If that's true then the Legend's banner holds an imprint of their personality and experience at the time of death and the Respawn becon transmits that imprint to the Respawn chamber where a new body is imprinted with their consciousness and dropped back in.
my theory coming from Siege, they also use special non-lethal but painful bullets. once they reach a damage threshold, they will be sent back to the chamber. i saw Wattson disintegrate someone and it's either they were teleported back or they ain't walking from that
I always thought of them getting a temporary or artificial body for the game. Their mind is put into a carbon copy of themselves, I imagine them being strapped in and plugged into a sort of Matrix-like port of some kind. Not a simulation as they are real and physical bodies that feel pain and do die but they are not their primary bodies. Maybe the respawn chamber is where they are sent after their second body dies, a place to recover or something from the shock of that, before they're ready to go back into the games again for a respawn or a new match.

The lucky part could also mean if you get headshotted, maybe the advanced healing thingy can't heal headshots
@@iNSANELYSMART409 It's a possibility, but I don't see it that way, because they always come back, no matter what.

But then why would they make Octane clones with cybernetic legs?

If it's all fake and everyone is all cool after the game, why is mirage always so nervous?
If I'm not wrong Mirage has a personality disorder which makes him socially awkward and since he probably had friends who enjoyed being around him until they found out about his real personality.

EVERYTIME YOU BLEED
FOR REACHING GREATNESS
Imagine they made a legend that could respawn you on the spot as their ult
Revenant
I see your a man of culture
Love your theories, so here's mine for you to look at:
I am thinking that the game lore is viewable, as mentioned before, with a distinct line between mechanics that are lore based and gameplay based.

Also there's a time limit to get the banner/all respawn stations have been used up or are outside the ring.

Could fit the universe.
So its kinda like titan links, but from distance
"How one Octane quote explained the weirdest part of the lore"
I think "If your lucky" implies that sometimes they don't come back. it could just be if a body is to badly damaged or the banner is destroyed. but i think its most fun if its a sort of points system. like maybe if you die to many times or to often they just don't bring you back. and you have to keep winning to keep living through the games
Fuse will die!!
I had a couple of ideas about respawning:
One is that the reason respawning is available is because there is some sort of field around the maps (which is why they have to stay in a small selection of places) that captures the legends conciseness when they die and then creates a new body to put that conciseness in.
Your last sentence doesn't make sense, because if you interrupt the finisher after you get disintegrated you still come back like nothing happened.

The family part is like when they were all hanging out in the dropship in the season three trailer.
Me: Gets Riddled with Bullets
My Teammate: *Stabs me with a Syribge*
Me: *Helf*

O thank god i wasn’t the only one wondering about this after octane literally spoke about it. At first I thought it was some sort of 4th wall break 😂
It does seem that way
Ven Imagine if they are all clones and the actual legends are receiving money only for the use of their image, being in other planets ir something while the clones fight for tem

You are the type of guy the Nasa needs
Rampart saying “they must’ve used a Rampart for them shots” always fucks me up with its lore implications
Means one of Rampart's items i think

Let's also consider that Apex is after Titanfall, so maybe Technology makes "Respawning" not erase your memory.
There is no "considering" apex IS after Titanfall
Didn't you know the lore? Bangalore fought in the frontier wars, so did mirages brothers. Wraith was a pilot and octane did the gauntlet to it is pretty much cannon that apex is after Titanfall.
@@Sol-l4i4d agree

@@Sol-l4i4d
Yeah, it might not be titanfall 3 but I do like the lore that comes out bit by bit.
So what I still see people getting wrong basically is the fact that other contestants compete in the apex games other then just the legends.
Basically:
The don’t die, they just get re-atomized (idk the actual word) with their consciousness transferred into that body
I didn't know you had a gameplay channel definitely gonna check out that channel.
Awesome video, lore are really interesting to watch.😃😃😃
That Octane voice line made me think the same thing! SUPER INTERESTING THOUGH is the "IF YOU'RE LUCKY" part.
And the announcer voice saying "Legends auto respawning with full gear" gave me chills. Lore chills.
Didn't Gib say he lost people for real to the Games?
Here's my theory:
If Legends remain popular with the fans, and successful, they get to keep respawning.
If they don't meet a certain quota of success and/or fans, they risk real death. They won't be respawned.
What do you guys think?
Theory: So, you know how collecting banners works in apex so if your entire team dies or your banner expires the organizers collect your banner and put it in a respawn beacon so you can play in the next game OR everyone os just a clone of the real legend and even if the clone dies, a new clone can be used
I THINK...
its like borderlands 3
there is a "respawn beacon" which regens them and builds all their body up and their tissue, muscles etc
with their consciousness saved in a computer
All borderlands have this but it's possible. Haven't played borderlands 3 yet, what company respawns you? In 2 it's Hyperion and in presequel it's Dahl. I'm not sure about 1

if it is all a simulation, why did they have to evacuate in season 2 when the tower fell?
It's not a simulation. The games are like wrestling where they're "fake", but the hits and such they take (bullets, grenade explosions, and more) are real, but also healable due to the technology in the Titanfall universe.
Josh Villanueva the animals and the ring malfunctioning
That's so crazy that someone said that. I was thinking the same thing in the way that when legends die they don't really die, instead all they do is just come back in something like a chamber because they're in like some virtual reality or simulation type thing. the thought that it is similar to the titanfall regeneration except the only memories that they lose is of them waiting to get revived to go back in that virtual reality.
I've been so excited for this video! :D

How about HOW IS THERE TWO OF THE SAME LEGENDS IN ONE PLACE
my theory is the legend is implanted with a chip that sends the data of what they see, feel, smell etc etc realtime.
and when a legend die, all that data is then injected into a ready made clones. ready for drop.
so if there's more than 1 of the same legend, it's because they copy literally everything to the clone.
and the surviving team's clone get to be the real one.
the respawn chamber is just what they call the clone storage room. because it's cooler that way.
Eh I don’t agree I think when they die they’re spirits of conscious is in they’re banned and when the games are finished People get the banners and put them in the Respawn chamber and they fight another day. And I think the two of the same legends in one place are Non canon just for gameplay
@@cuchis0923 then how do you explain multiple of the same legend in 1 game?
Marco Giovani I think that’s just for the gameplay
@@cuchis0923 then it's another whole kind of weird. imagine it. the map with only 4-5 team?
Who else uses octane 24/7 ?
You got a point there but if you focus on Mirage lines he says so many things that might reflect that they are in some sort of advanced simulation in addition the trailer for season 3 shows that they know each other pretty well but like they don’t get to choose their teammates it’s happens randomly.
How do they die and always come back to life?

Video: what happens when legends die?
Me, a recovering League of legends player: LEGENDS NEVER DIIIIIEEEEEE!
Legends never die they become a part of you there’s your answer
maybe the Banner of the deathbox is a "Teleporting device" that teleports the eliminated legends to a respawn chamber. if the banners got picked up and used at a "respawn beacon". those banners will gi back to those they belong to and get reactivated while the dropship brings them back from maybe an orbital Respawn Chamber. the effect when legends get eliminated is like a short ragdoll and they get instantly "disintegrated" or in that case teleported.
The answer is simple, Legends Never Die
Game-wise, when a legend gets knocked down, they just fall down to the ground and look like they lost consciousness. A death box appears and at the same time the body disappears. I'm just here guessing they have the technology to move particles or something since the way death box disappears in-game could be related to the legends when knocked down, like particle teleportation. For me, when they receive fatal damage, they just stop when their HP is 1. For Wraith's finisher, the portal can lead to any place, like a respawn chamber or such.
I always thought they just clone themselves or it’s just a simulation
If you study the deathbox, there's these open hoops on the ends of the boxes. Looks like holes to strap them down in a cargo freight or to be collected by a machine or something. I always wondered about that
I think they are all clones...
Fastest click in the West
This is hands down the best apex channel
Hmm I see, this is a question I have been asking for a long period of time.
I always found this very interesting since some of the legends acknowledge dying and talk about “after the match”
Revenant: I don't know such weaknesses.
Pretty sure they are just always connected to something like revenants ultimate. When they die, they teleport to the respwan chamber where the tech is. If their team reboots them, a ship comes and gets them from the chamber and brings them back to the battlefield
It's like the titanfall training sequence they just get in one of those and fight
