Here accidentally, after 25 years may be moving. The pros are that it is safe, it has grown in so many good ways, a lot of nice parks, a lot of shopping, the city works hard to keep improving it. Dublin has some interesting history, some awesome people, the schools are great. The downside is that it grew too much too fast. It is still really a lot nicer than many communities but the traffic is awful if you work in the city or in Silicon Valley. This area has a big East Indian and Korean Community, the city is working harder to make sure that these cultures are represented and needs are met in regards to parks, activities and shopping. I am leaving for a place a little more quiet, a little less expensive and a little more North. I will miss it terribly. At the time of writing this a small 60 year old, 3 bedroom ranch home, on the west "downtown" part of town, the oldest part goes for about 1.2 million plus.

It's so cool how the city is growing but surprisingly food prices are way over expensive I guess people don't realize or have a lot of money and don't pay that much of attention when you go to the shopping strip malls
And just getting something simple they want to take a arm and a leg my comment might sound ridiculous or dumb since most of the people from this area I believe they are rich
just for a slice of pizza and a drink it cost around $16
For a student I think it would be a little issue on food prices

Yeah, we moved to the Tri-Valley(Livermore) last July, after having considered Dublin. After going there numerous times to check out homes, we became aware of just how crowded it is.

They keep building and building. Because of all the building it’s not a tight community anymore. Dublin also never talked or really showed who they vote for. Now because of all the building it’s turning into the East bay.
