Good fair review guys. As a Benelli main agent we were suprised and disappointed at the MCN review. When you look at what you get for your money, it's a lovely capable machine. Of course its not a BMW GS but you can buy 3 of these for the price of a GS. Don't get me wrong like most bikers I want to know the good and the bad in a review but I just don't see how MCN can have arrived at their conclusions, maybe its because Benelli don't spend on advertising with MCN. We would be happy for you to review any of the bikes we stock. Tony, TW Motorcycles Ltd

Great review, I have to say, this is by far the best honest one of anyone yet. I just looked at one here in Thailand where I am currently living and it was absolutely awesome. Thanks to your input, I will be buying the TRK. I look forward to more of your reviews, keep up the good work and speak the truth as you always do..

I don't know why MCN gave such negative review of this bike, they didn't cover any good things about this bike. This felt like a genuine review. Thumps Up!

I agree , very confusing that MCN review , like they were paid by someone else to make a shit review , also read and seen lot of other VLOGer reviews and they give this bike a big thumbs up. So I really don't know what to think , hopefully will have a change someday to test it.

I liked this review, I too was disappointed with MCN's Write up. I'm going to have a look at this bike next week even though it has less bhp than my 250 two stroke! Just fancy a change and riding experience. Again, great honest review!

I have riden a pcx125 for about 3 years and test drove this, felt superb on the road but the weigth when its time to manuver it with the feet scared me... it feels like a rock. Also I could no longer split in traffic like in the pcx... but I loved the confort, the driving position, and and looks of it! Dont know what to do...

    • @bikeaesthetics1067
      @bikeaesthetics1067  7 лет назад +2

Socialmente Inconveniente if you are on an A2 liscence then you could try the Kawasaki Z650 or if you would like a touring bike you could go for the Versys 650 which are both lighter with more punch, for £500 odd more. From a PCX to a big Benelli is a great ask in anybodys eyes. It's a big step up! Good luck with whatever you decide to go for!

Unfortunately there are issues with the brakes on the TRK, a motovlogger tested it he showed his hands pulling the lever a lot but it wasn't braking a lot. Lovely bike though.

How the speed is ? I mean the couple.
Can you easily overdrive a truck or a car on the highway ?
      Is she responsive ?
      Maniability ?
These are the 3 big point for me because i'll use it in city most of the time and i'm scared of the power.

Great review from someone who obviously knows what he's doing and who's tested the bike thoroughly. A friend of mine chose this over a Versys 650 for all the reasons you stated. I'm doing my A2 and am seriously considering the Benelli as my daily drive. And the price difference!! New leather jacket and then some. Thanks again!

I'm 5'6" and I'm on tippy toes when I'm on it. It's manageable, just watch out for the weight. My current bike is a 200 Duke, so I'm used to a much much lighter and shorter(?) bike. However, this bike looks and seems to be awesome for its price. I can really see me switching my Duke for this :D

I bought the bike before 4 months that was a mistake.. A trk 502 x..
1.Very heavy.. 235 kilos make the bike unterpower.I can't imagine with 3 koffers and a woman on bike....
2.Chinese build.. Cheap plastics and windscreen and switch etc..
3.Many issues.. I have 1400 km and all ready I have problem with gearbox and the rear brake is spongy.. Other guys have problems like coils and spark plugs, water pumb, fuel pumb, thermostat, gasket, leak from the Cooland.. Etc..
4.Small network and bad support.. Must wait from China the spare parts.. At least in Germany...
Positives.. Comfortable, very beautiful, good fork, good sound, extras..
It's not a bad choice but not the best.. I love this bike but they didn't make a good job.. This bike if had better quality build 650 cc and better servise will be a best seller.

MCN is the least likely publication I would ever read for any motorcycle or scooter review. Its journalists are mostly (not all) a bunch of immature, power/speed obsessed junkies who regularly slag off anything that isn't in their opinion "cool". They just don't get it. Imagine a car magazine telling you that all cars are worthless unless they had 400 hp. That's about the power to weight ratio equivalent of their preferred motorcycles. Almost every bike I've owned was described as more or less worthless junk by MCN and the more they slagged everything off the more I found such machines useful.
Suzy Perry once guest-edited MCN and she wrote a very good article pleading for a change in attitude within that paper and in the motorcycle community, focussing on the UK's obsession with speed, power and nutcase road riding. Unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. The core problem with MCN and similar magazines/newspapers is their bias towards racing, rather than something that is useful and reasonably safe on the roads. They also promote irresponsible and reckless riding, between the lines.
