He was definitely pretty rattled when I called him and wished he was closer. It was very sweet. I'm definitely very grateful that the dogs and I are okay. We can rebuild another rig.
I’m so sorry that your truck got totaled after you put so much work into it!! I hope you can build out your new rig exactly like what you had been working on with this truck!! Seasons greetings and holiday blessings to you and your furbabies!!🐾🐾♥️♥️♥️. Safe travels!!

Your energy is awesome. Pro tip, your mechanics and installers will like you a whole lot better if you invest a few quarters at the car wash and clean off most of that mud n dirt. Makes it mo betta fir them and keeps it out of their eyes… 😉
Thank you 🙃 I know we should have gotten her washed prior to this. I was like wooof this is bad. But she is a well used rig 😂 I tried to get her detailed before going in but I had literally gotten into town the night before from offroading and had to be there at 7 am

So sorry to hear this to be true....hopefully one day you will tell the story of this sad and tragic incident!! (It will make good content)....As for getting back on the road...( fingers and toes crossed....BRING ON more glitter for your ever building community!! Cheers, Merry Christmas

So glad you and the pups are Ok after incident with your truck. So are you going to put out a vlog on what happened? Happy Holidays to you and your family and can't wait to see whats next.
@searchingforsloane 100% right. I just bought a GMC Sierra 1500 truck, and I've never owned a truck before, so I'm interested in learning all I can. I'm going to put a Topo Topper on it like your truck and am going to need to do some mods. It's all very interesting to me. Thank you. Also, you have a wonderful personality in your videos.
RIGHT?? the suspension is a GAME CHANGER. Plus it makes the truck drive so much better. Bigger tires would have been the next move before leaving the country.
Thank you so much. I figured I wanted to be able to look back and see all the wild shenanigans I've gotten up to. As that is something I regret from when I stopped making videos living in my van until now. Photos are great but there is something about having the emotion of the moments on film to look back on. Not to mention I really hope it inspires people that they can get out there and live a life they have dreamed of.
Your enthusiasm and sense of humor accomplishes that for sure…excited to catch up on your past vids and follow for more…that atlas looks better and better…;)
I’m am really surprised they allowed you in the shop, truck looks great! Also how much lift is that? Now you need a front locker and 5.29 gearing. You’ll be set! ❤
I know! I had to really ask to get let into the shop. I was grateful because I think it’s important to understand the mechanics for the journey I’m going on. Front locker would be great and perhaps in the future
Hmm dealer reusing the hardware? passenger rear shock (oh you have shocks front and rear, not struts) was shot aka leaking... did we miss the torquing of the hardware? Also I may of put new tires on before the alignment..
Yes, we just upgraded those, as I didn't feel it necessary to really go further and add more that could go wrong. Since I was leaving the country I wanted to keep everything as basic as possible to eliminate all that could go wrong.
@@searchingforsloane I thought maybe the height though you off balance I didn't know what did cause you to roll over ? PS. Please be careful out there over the road ok 33 s might be a better fit for your truck I don't know though take care Sloane
Yea nothing wrong with the parts or installation of the parts I was wondering if it put you off balance you know made you severe top heavy with the center of gravity

Since I had never done it before I was wanting to watch how it should be done with someone that works on Toyota's and then I would know how to maintain it myself. And now I'm very grateful I went to Toyota given I had my accident and there is no questioning that it was done to standards.
I just wanna save you money. Car dealerships add five to Ten thousand to the price of the vehicle over the cost of the lift and have to get their cut when you go through an off-road shop. I'm very confused as a relatively new subscriber. Timmy told us your truck was wrecked at least two weeks ago so why are we living in an alternative world as if nothing has happened? All very odd.
My truck is totaled. However I have filmed the entire build out of my truck and preparing for the journey ahead down to South America. It was a 3” lift with heavy springs on the rear
Love the upgrades like you said though needs bigger tires lol lol looks funny with the small tires 😂😂😂😂😂
Right?! The plan was 34’s potentially… whatever didn’t require cutting
Truck mods give me the fizz too. Hope all is well!
RIGHT? we love truck mods.
Hmm dealer reusing the hardware? passenger rear shock (oh you have shocks front and rear, not struts) was shot aka leaking... did we miss the torquing of the hardware? Also I may of put new tires on before the alignment..
We didn't reuse much aside from the single bolt in the upper control arms. The suspension that we took out was pretty well used up.
How do you like your camper…I was considering putting that on my taco…
I give the Atlas a 10/10 and then AT overland a 20/10
They are a great group of people and it's a wonderful community to join into.
Yeah seems rugged and better built than project m, go fast, topo and others…
Only #UpperControlArms & #Struts in the #FrontEnd?
Yes, we just upgraded those, as I didn't feel it necessary to really go further and add more that could go wrong. Since I was leaving the country I wanted to keep everything as basic as possible to eliminate all that could go wrong.

It’s custom to wash the underside before a shop gets under it lmao
I mean probably would have been great. But rolled in late the eve before the appointment to hit the shop at 7 am
