would you recommend an ipad air 2024 for artist then? I want to buy my first ipad and I think that air looks good with the new apple pencil pro. The ipad pro looks really good but just seems overly priced for what it seems is a nice screen. Unless I cn use it as a computer replacement, I can't see why I'd get one... what do you think?
I think Air is great for artists! Pro is great for the screen brightness and refresh rate, but the price is so steep as you mentioned. I feel like if you’re not doing super complicated 3D or video processing, Air would be more than good enough!
My LG TV is OLED and 120 Hz and costs less than the iPad Pro. I just can’t justify that price. $1,777.00 once you add the keyboard and pencil is crazy to me.

I have been using it without a protector! It’s really up to personal preference.
