I think of my friend every time I see a butterfly. Hi, Leda, I say. She flits around and then comes back another day. Bless you. Love the holder! It seems achievable for me, lol
I love watching people struggle with stuff, i.e. figure things out on the fly. I learn so much. Thanks for the link to the pockets. Those look useful. Even tho I've finished my ephemera book with pockets made from file folders (opaque), I see that I could really use some of these clear pockets for some of the little thingies that have found their way into my book. So thank you, my Amazon cart gets ever fuller.
Of course it was a sign from your dad. I believe that totally. And thanks for these self adhesive pockets for ephemra. Not wanting to sew and glue is exactly why I hadn't done it yet.
I had to comment on what you said about the squirrel and it being a sign of your dad! I totally believe in that stuff too and that squirrel with the peanut was WITHOUT A DOUBT your dad visiting you. 🙏🏻😇💗 My best friend and my family members have had similar experiences during the loss of someone in our families with birds hitting windows and WOULD NOT STOP. ❣️
Glad to see your video you always brighten my day. Yes I believe that that's a sign from your Dad we had a friend that my husband has known all his life we never saw a red cardinal till he passed away now we see those birds all the time
I was admiring this book while watching your tag book videos. It’s amazing. I’m going to get these stickers to redo my book. The vellum I used is tearing, these will be a great replacement. Love how your came, Thanks for sharing . Xx 🤗💞🤗
Omygod! This is brilliant!!! I've never tried to make an ephemera holder because of all the sewing involved and... you know... because of how lazy I am too 😳😂 So I'm definitely gonna try your version! Thanks so much for sharing, Nicole!! 🤗 💕
My sisters and I think of our Mom, Dad, and Brother whenever we see cardinals... And whenever I see a monkey I think of my brother, because he loved them. So I think it's sweet that the squirrel with the peanut reminded you of your Father. ;) That's an awesome and useful project. =) love the little pockets you found. =)
Lady, you are a hoot! It was great spending time with you today. I'm a true believer in signs from above and I'm positive that the squirrel with the peanut was a sign from your Dad. Take care, my friend
I love and totally believe your Dad sent the squirrel...same thing happened after my Dad passed..his thing was Mourning Doves...literally, they were EVERYWHERE and especially (don't laugh) when I was peeing, the window right next to the toilet, there would be a Mourning Dove sitting on the tree branch that would make the Dove and I practically eye to eye!! LOL!! I would always say, "OK Dad..thanks for making me laugh!!" LOL!! xo
LOVE your no-sew version of an ephemera holder...genius! The squirrel carrying the peanut...most definitely a wink from your Dad!! I 😘 🥜🐿 Big HUGS!! 🤗❤🤗
Thank you for this tutorial, I have been watching so many tutorials to try and find a way to store all the little pieces I have for ephemera and finally I came across your non sew option!! So helpful. Also I have a ton of these plastic stick pockets and never used them! So ridiculous I didnt think of it before! They also have them at the dollar tree for those looking :) Will tag you when I finally make my own
I like this idea! I made an ephemera book and I cut vellum and glued it it. It took forever! That’s why I have been putting off making another one. Thank you for sharing this!
Stick on pockets! Yey! I cannot get to my sewing machine, so this is great. Thank you!. Shared on FB! I can start with sorting postage stamps by color! TFS!
What an awesome idea…I did the sewing one a while back and it was such a pain in the butt! Your t-ball story brought back some great memories. My youngest son, now almost 33 was 4 at the time and he was such a rebel on the t-ball field. He wouldn’t tuck in his jersey (it hit him around the knees), he wouldn’t wear his hat the right way and when he got bored he was either throwing his mitt up in the air and catching it or picking flowers. My friend’s little boy was so into baseball that when he got out at first he threw himself down on the base and had a huge fit…the coach had to carry him off the field kicking and crying…We had so many laughs back then! Thanks for reminding me!
Super cute and super simple! My only issue is that, if I am willing to sew, I have everthing that I need to make this ephemera holder. I don't have the elastic or the adhesive pockets. I want to use what I have, but the adhesive pockets though would be quicker. Hmm, what is a girl to do? Thanks for pointing me to this video, Nicole. I need this in my life, so I have a decision to make. Esther
What a great idea! You are so brilliant! Oh and btw, everyone always needs a stiff “spine”! LOL! Love ya sweetie! Glad to see you crafting! Hope you are taking care of you! 💜💜💜
Oh Sweetie, you silly wabbit! This was so painful to watch you struggling with your OCDness to get things lined up cuz you didn't want to sew! OMG I laughed so much. You are a jewel if there ever was one! This is a great idea but when I do it, I'm gonna use a pencil and turn that dang ruler over and make some marks, baby! I just love you seeeewwww much! 🙃☺😉💗💗💗
I’m hoping you’ll screwup even a smidgen so I can convince you to sell it to me and you can make another😂😂😂 I’m known to be “ole weird Helen” but I totally believe that squirrel was from your dad. I have stories galore like that regarding close people who have passed.
I made a book exactly like that about 3 yrs. ago! It wasn't A Reader's Digest cover; it was hard cardboard covered w/scrapbook paper. Instead of elastic, I used different colors of embroidery thread. The spine had the exact same crisscrossing! I used it as a memory keeper. Special cards, photos, letters, etc. I don't understand these sticker pkts. Are they real narrow (depth wise)? so only for little ephemera? How is your Mom doing? Sister? You, boys,Bob? This is quite a nice Ephemera holder. It rained ALL day here, still is and I have been in such pain, the fibro too...ugh.
Thank you for this tutorial! It's spot on for what I was looking for. Easy and provides a lot of storage -

I've cut and sewed and glued photo pockets, acetate and file folders and hate them all. These look much better. Thanks!
Finally! A no-sew ephemera holder.

Omg I need 2 hands to squeeze those corner punchers, too! Ok ok now shush...I gotta watch the rest🤫
Those pockets are totally genius! Where have they been all my life?!
I love this, Nicole. Cute, easy and functional. You made me laugh with the 'herding cats' remark! TFS ❤️
Also: what would you choose for your goddaughter’s walk-up song? Something fun to think about at tee ball practice.
I was looking up ephemera holders last night, searching for this very thing. Great minds looking for comfort in crafting and organizing think alike!
I double as a mind reader!🤪
"Basically I'm just eye balling it", she said with a ruler 100% on the line under her left hand 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha! I meant how high up on the paper I would go!
@@relaxcutglue Still funny 🤣🤣🤣

Just wondering if this remains useful for you? Love watching your channel, you are a blessing!
Yes, absolutely! Still use it!
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Thank you so much❤️ We are taking one day at a time!
@@relaxcutglue love you. You are amazing how you continue to be cheerful on your vids.
Ou trouver le petit outil que vous utilisez pour plier vos pages . Merci
Hi. Just watched the no sew ephemera book ( I’m behind on videos ) and would like to know what you used for elastic bands. Thanks.
Where did you get the girls that you have in the holder at the beginning of the video? They're super cute! I love your ephemera holder!!!
