TUTORIAL - EPHEMERA STORAGE - EASY!

  • I really needed some ephemera storage and found a video with this idea and LOVED the concept! So I made it my way and this is the result. It's so simple and easy!
    All you need are a few hanging file folders, some packing tape and left over scrapbook paper. The cover can be an old book or even recycled cardboard. I show several of both options in this video.
    If you are going to make this...use your stash! I didn't have to buy anything to make all four of these ephemera storage books. (If you need supplies though - I provided links below that show you what I used to create these cool storage books.)

    Argh, I had a flashback seeing those record books. Used them all the time when I was in the service. They are used by the military & US Government. I still have some of those! What a great idea to repurpose them. They are so well made I could never throw them away.

    The original that Patricia at Le Cafe Craft mentioned is from "al john" and her name is Amy- her channel is just that - al john . She does great work, especially for making art and journals on a budget.

    Great video! I know this was a couple of years ago. And I saw that several people asked how you attached it to the book cover. So I understand what you do with the front cover but how do you attach to the back of cover and still be able to flip flop the pages?

    How did you attach the front cover and back cover

    This is such a wonderful idea however the taped edge does not stayed glued. What am I doing wrong?

      Yes, the first file folder was left empty (no scrapbook paper) so the book cover (or cardboard) could be attached. I really appreciate you asking questions! ✌
