As someone who has experienced everything FF7 there’s nothing more heartbreaking than knowing that the Sephiroth that caused all this turmoil, is still the one at the END thinking about these moments. This is what he’s doing with his 7 seconds…
His story just gets sadder and sadder with every new update or installment. He just wanted his mother more than anything else in the world…. Edit: Just got confirmation that the true Japanese translation reveals that this cell was Sephiroth’s own room. He asks “Jenova” why she is in his room. Bravo, Shinra.

Pumpkin soup?? 😭 Seph wanted to try it in that one pumpkin event. It’s so sweet and incredibly heartbreaking seeing how he dreams his mother would make his favorite food just for him 💔
Why is his room so bare? :( There’s no windows, no bed, just a crate a a little table(if you reach) and he’s all alone. No wonder he went insane. Edit: also Sephiroth dreaming about the soup probably means he wasn’t fed normal food in the labs. Feels bad :’(
Poor Sephiroth. But now we know why he was so grumpy about Angeal waking him up in the trailer. But is this an innocent dream, or Jenova messing with him? During the Halloween episode Glen and Sephiroth were teleported to Nibelheim, where Sephiroth came in range of Jenova.
Frankly, Sephiroth would have to be quite generous to forgive Lucrecia, as she remains guilty of agreeing to let Hojo experiment on him while in her womb and sealing herself in a cave for several years, leaving Hojo and Shinra free to raise Sephiroth as they wished. It may be strange to say this, but even though Jenova is a genocidal creature that led Sephirtoh to become the villain we know, the alien is a better mother than Lucrecia.
@@danterezende8627 except that they TOOK Sephiroth away from her after his birth. she never even got to hold him. yeah, the experiment was a bad decision on her part, but I think she thought she would be around to raise him. but she lost him immediately. but she is still the warm mother figure he wanted. Jenova has yet to be the mother he needed. she ultimately is using him to fulfill her dream of conquering earth. all Sephiroth wanted was to be united with her. but she only wants to live in world that's just the two of them.
Wow. I'm actually crying my eyes out like a baby. I really, REALLY hope that Sephiroth meets his mother in Part 3. Sucks that he can NOT get redeemed and turn over a new leaf, which means he's going to die in the finale in 2027 and I'm really not ready for that. Sephiroth, as a person, does NOT deserve to die, especially with everything that's going on with him. Here's why I think he's innocent: 1. He did NOTHING wrong. 2. Hojo/Genesis are the REAL villains. They told Sephiroth LIES and now because of him going completely insane and killing people because of those lies, both Hojo and Genesis are the ones who turned him into A MONSTER. 3. Hojo set up the 'mission' in Nibelheim so that his son would go insane once he found out that he was a Cetra, born from the alien known as Jenova and NOT his real mother. 4. Sephiroth being killed in the finale for something he didn't do doesn't even make sense. I truly believe that if Sephiroth had been told THE TRUTH and not some stupid lies, he wouldn't have turned into the evil, crazy man that we know him as today. But sadly, I don't see a redemption happening for my favorite character down the line and Square Enix is NOT going to redeem him in the finale. I had the feeling that Sephiroth was going to die in Part 3 ever since REMAKE and it's killing me right now. I understand that MANY fans want Sephiroth to be redeemed and turned into a hero, but Square Enix probably isn't going to do it. Sephiroth, at this point, is too far gone. We'll see what happens in Part 3 and what's going on with Sephiroth.
I'm also one of the people who wants a redemption arc for Sephiroth. He is also my favorite character and since FF7 Ever Crisis even more. We all know who the real villains are. As far as I know, the devs want to give everyone a happy ending and it breaks my heart when I think that he probably won't get a happy ending. Sephiroth is such a tragic character and his story is the saddest in all of FF7 for me so I really hope that he gets justice and that he finds out the truth. The chance is very small that he will get a happy ending but my hopes are too high because of FF7 Ever Crisis and the Sephiroth in the Edge of Creation who thought about his memories and depending on how part 3 ends for Sephiroth I will certainly cry because I know that he could have been saved if he had experienced more love, respect and the truth

I'm freaking out right now!😅 I have many questions... I realize the sequence is a dream. caused by jenova itself or the unknown, questionable pink particles in the air. But what I'm wondering now is that Lucretia 'died' shortly after Sephiroth was born, he never saw her himself. The picture he had of Lucretia with him in episode 1 was definitely from Hojo as well as the information that her name was Jenova. Sephiroth's sentence as he accepts the pumpkin soup "I've been dreaming about eating this again" what does 'again' mean in that case? Is it simply his favorite food and hasn't had it for a long time and does he dream about how much he would like to have his mother cook the dish? or something completely different? The lucky charm in the dream, could it be that the red ribbon on the handle of nameless is the said good luck braid? Or am I reading too much into this? Where did he get it from or is it a symbol that was only introduced in this scene and would only make more sense in further chapters?🤔
It's pretty obvious that Sephiroth just wished he had a mother who cared for him and spent some time with him. The pumpkin soup itself isn't really the point here so much as his wish that he had a mother who would be a mother to him like eating together and sharing your day type of stuff
