- With 21 milion and 55 years the Beetle was the longest and produced in big gest amount car in history. One might claim that it was also a biggest fraud in history of car industry. The 3 Reich citizen's were supposed to pay in money for their first car (990 Mark) in rates (not less than 5 Mark per week). Sadly no one receive the promissed car. Instead of that the factory in Wolfsburg, City that was build from scratch to accomodate the factory, produced the military vesion of the car (Schwimmwagen and Kubelwagen). Was it a plan of the Nazis to collect money for military invasions, and the car was never planed to be delivered? Seems so, becouse the 990 DM price didnt cover the production costs.
The car motorize Germany later in 1950 and 60's. Over 21 milion of VW were produced and the concept didnt change much: air cooled engine in a bulky body.
That very much looks like a Mexican 80s beetle that somehow ended all the way there!
Poland in communism time was a lot like Cuba. If you had a car you were driving it to the end, than renovate it where parts were not accessible, dive ot to the end and again renovate.
The wheel is from a golf (I think)… the taillights are from a 73 (maybe), as for the rest I have no idea not original tho lol
The owner said it had a bodywork swap at some point :)
@@CarRambler1 mhm that's what I figured ^~^
@@tank123103 :)
Its typical for cars in comunist cou troes that you used them till the end, than fixed in a way that was possible, and not to expensive used them again till the second end reanimated again. A car with low millave from that era is a rarity. At The other end there were users who did apriciate their cars so much that it was a waste for them to use them so you are able to find cars from 70, 80 that were nearly not used.
Not the steering wheel nor the oil/air filter thing nor the tail lights as on my USA '69
I think this one is not a perfect example of originality :)
Driving a vocho is an amazing feeling ❤
Não parece um 69, mas sim, um 86. O cabo do velocímetro está rompido.
Interesting... If you ignore the turn signals on the fenders this would be without a doubt a 1985 50 years aniversiary "Jubiläumskäfer" (the colour, green tinted glass, the colour of the seats, the steering wheel, the dashboard) but then the year 1969 would make no sense at all? And I mean who would try to recreate this particular model down to the seats?
On the other hand, there are the turn signals which should then be inside the front bumper and the missing chrome on front windshield...
That sure is a strange little beetle!
I was told the car got a new bodywork at some point. This is eastern country tipical exploatation: drive to the end and when absolutely must have renovated somehow and continue driving...
@@CarRambler1 Makes sense, probably swapped the body and kept some parts und used some other parts from yet another car.
Yeeh 80s Where Wild in western cointries than multiple this by 100 and you know Now how Wild the 80s in Poland were. We had only vineger Oil on shelfs in shops!
That's not a'69 but it's Okay.
Thats what stands in the paperwork. :) Lets just "let it be"
It's not a '69 model
This isn't from 69

Auto dotarło do nich lawetą w ciągu kilku godzin :D
@@CarRambler1 To jest ten sam wóz. Widziałem go na żywo, jeszcze na etapie kilkugodzinnych oględzin :)
Ha, jaki ten świat jest mały :D
No mały, a ten światek zabytkowej motoryzacji jeszcze mniejszy. Wiesz może jakie są plany właścicieli co do auta?
Me gusta manejar veiculo escarabajo
Old = good
