I remembered reading this as a kid, and I didn’t really fully comprehend the absolute hilarity that someone like Yoda, an individual who is the most powerful Jedi of that era, would decide not to use his Jedi powers to handle a situation and instead just use a giant mini gun.

Everyone in Clone Wars 2003 was like max stretched interpretation of the lore with their powers it was incredible.
@@LepidopteranLiliumothSamuel l Jacksons character went from guy who had cool purple stuff into scary, the scene when he’s just punching robots to death and using them against each other like he is samurai Jack was sick. They made general grievous pew force crush into a real monster, like jaws and Jason rolled into one with some Freddy throw to always keep you on your toes.
The clone wars were sick.
Fun fact: the paint on the white armor was a thing thanks to republic commandoes, they had legit guys come in and show the game designers what legit squad tactics looked like, wish the live action got that memo sooner. The live action did get a seal to be a clone though after they realized making fighting look legit like war is hard in a big battle and to help with advising on military stuff. That clone that runs up on top of that big droid tank thing and fires into it in a matter of seconds in a smooth, well practiced and organic way was the seal flexin a little and earning his pay.

It was Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures volume 3. Actually spent time trying to find it the day before i watched this video because it was the only one i read as a kid. Real crazy coincidence

J.J Abrams in the rise of skywalker panel said this: ““This whole trilogy, VII, VIII, and IX, is really sort of about the generation that follows the great generation and the idea of bringing balance to the Force, which is the whole point of the Chosen One, Anakin, in the original trilogy. Edit: also the prophecy states that the chosen one is a MAN born with NO FATHER. Not anywhere close to Rey.
I loved those comics, I still have most of them. Definitely had a few strange stories but some legitimately good ones.
The box one was probably the sadest seeing all that was sacrificed just for it to be put onto a shelf with all the others.
Yeah I recall most stories involving Commandos being pretty good. The Order 66 one with the Commandos and little kid is definitely a standout for me.

@@kyle_mk17 Star Wars: Clone Wats Adventures. They were in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars continuity and style. Generally they were quick anthology stories, and were released as these little digest size books.
In the clone wars show, yoda lifted a super battle droid and made it fire into it’s own clanker friends. Using a mini gun to shred some clankers would totally be in character for yoda

Considering how hard jedi are to kill in battlefront, giving yoda a mini gun seems like EA's way of killing off the game for good
I'll never forgive them for powercreeping heroes while allowing 4-6 at once in every single 40 player match, with no cooldown when one was defeated.
@@Chicky_Lumps Dude how the fuck did Battlefront 2 (Good edition) still do hero's perfect years before. 1 hero for a team, that heros health depletes slowly when not in combat, the only way to heal is to kill the enemy, but if a team focuses you down, your good as dead.
Hell how the fuck did we never get a no hero mode. God EA and Dice are incompetent.
I used to own these comics as a kid... back when order 66 was something the clones knew ahead of time.
In legends their were multiple orders that the Clones and Jedi knew about, but the Jedi never thought they would take place.

@G3 Entertainment The Star Wars Clone wars comics that released alongside the original Gennedy Tartakovsky Clone Wars Cartoon! They came in books that featured three or four different comic stories, each showing characters, both named and original, in short stories during the clone wars. They had real gems like "Yoda brings a Minigun to a small town and annihilates a separatist army."
Im thrilled to say that i drew a picture of Yoda's head in jail, and made it look realistic. After putting it on my window seal, the jail guard jumped having been startled or scared. Either way, big win. Its the little things.
