@@nelsonphilip4520 Honda don't play dat' .... 🤣 The Goldwing has passed many anniversaries and never got a "redesign" because of them. Why should the 25th be any different? Honda has barely gotten warmed up on the Gen 6 Wings...
I would love to see the motor get pumped to 150 hp and the gages to go full tft display. That would be a nice tweak for the 50th anniversary. You're probably right though, paint and badging lol.
I think they're gonna go v-twin :D Liquid-cooled, 150hp/200tq, full digital dash, rider modes, heated everything, adjustable everything, active suspension, adaptive cruise control, 300-mile range, bigger bags, and lighter weight. Oh wait, that's MY wish list for a new bike! :D
I am sure they will add an entire digital dashboard next year. I think they want to keep up with everyone else. I also feel Indians will do the same. You're right. You have the video dialed in very nicely. Ride Safe
It's all about return on investment and paint & tape changes are the least expensive changes Honda could make without much concern for going "underwater". It's noteworthy that you mentioned the ready supply of 2024 models at the dealer's showroom. Also you seemed to be somewhat "sticker shocked"! So with these market conditions, and since any model changes cost money, why would anybody expect anything other then paint & tape changes?
I guess I’m shocked because I paid 24 out the door in 2018 for a brand new bike. We seem to understand the economics behind the decisions Honda makes. Will be interesting to see what happens.
It will be interesting to see if they try and keep up with HD regarding the dash and storage but also match the price. When HD brought out the Street and Road Glides they actually lowered the price by about $4k but offered a much better bike than the previous versions....Could/would Honda do that?
The non tour Goldwing starts around 24k. Basically HD stripped the bikes down to bare bones and will let you build it out the way you want. I do agree 100% the new RG/SG is much better base than previous years. It would be nice to see a price drop but I don’t see it happening.
@@Petesmotoadventure not sure about the bare bone description, with the new dash, engine modes, engine, suspension upgrade, plus HD beats the Gold Wing in storage all day long
I really enjoyed riding your bike in KY. Very surprised on the acceleration and how smooth it was. Probably right on no major changes for the 25.
@@Broncoride your bike was also a blast. Stage 14 kit.
New nav and heated seat on the bagger. They might upgrade the lights also but i'm guessing those three things are a winner for me
I predict the 2025 Goldwing will be upgraded with badging and pinstripes.
@@painsrides3616 yep. Honda isn’t known for their upgrades.
@@painsrides3616 This seems to be the consensus on many GL vlogs. So who could blame Honda only doing paint & tape job!

I think they might have a special color for 2025 and the anniversary, maybe? I'm not expecting Honda to make any big changes or a big deal about it.

We can dream. Still won’t trade my 2018 though. It’s paid for.
I think they will change the body style but everything will be the same.. possibly up the hp a lil
@@GEN084 they could remap the ecm to boost it a bit.
I think it will be a great variant of the GW. At least I'm hoping...

Just another price increase. Keeping my 2018 till it falls apart. 😂
Same.
Larger bags, and more passenger room!
