you have some great skills my man. love the lister setup. please, keep the vid coming. Also seen a funny comic for leaf removal. Use snowblower and point discharge towards neigbors house.
Hey hodrod Looks like a GM power window motor turning the chute, real nice job of installation. It looks like the rubber hose drive has had a few twists though. lol I've seen a few vids with old rechargeable 12 volt drills used to turn the chute. It rotates quicker and you have a built in slip clutch. Those Honda clone replacement engines are sweet, I saw a new 15hp on sale for $249. I considered it but shipping was to much for me and my original just needed a good tune up, governor adjusted.
Yes it is a gm window motor out of an 1999 buick. I has since replaced the rubber hose with one slightly bigger in diameter and put hose clamps on it so i can adjust the amount of grab it has on the shaft. It works very well and does not twist as i can adjust it to slip at any amount of drag just by adjusting the tension on the hose clamps. The battery was pretty low when i tested it. Chute turns much faster with the battery at full charge and the engine running at operating RPM's
