Awesome video. New subscriber. I live in the area and I remember when the Southern Pacific had 80 car trains come into Anaheim every day on the Anaheim Hauler.
It goes right by my music room at Kennedy school when i am there on monday - as it goes by the kids and I wave at the engineer - who always waves back - count the cars, sing the "Union Pacific Railroad" song, and I tell them about each railroad car that goes by - it has become a monday morning ritual - . It always has several of those yellow weird flat cars with the tall spines on it behind it? it drags them down the line, and then back again without anything on them ? Never ever thought an ol foamer like me would have a little branch line going past my place of work - it makes a good day even better!!
That sounds really fun! I have another video of this train rolling through the streets of Anaheim if you want to check it out. Those weird flat cars are called "centerbeam rail cars" and they usually haul plywood, drywall and things like that. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice catch dude 🙂👍!!!!!! Congratulations on getting 50 subs 👍👍 and i live next to this local train and it's nice to finally see in action 👍👍👍 those mechanical bells and electronic bells sound great👌
Thank you Roly! I have always wanted to catch this train and I finally did. The engineers probably thought I was stalking them after seeing me film them at like 8 different crossings lol.
