My name is Brian... I live in Orange County, California and there is a lot of train activity around here. Lately, I've grown an interest in filming different trains, checking out old as well as new rail lines and train stations around were I live. I am a big fan of the BNSF Railway. If train tracks could talk, I can only imagine the stories they'd tell. Please feel free to hit that like button and leave a comment in any of my videos. Please do not talk shit! If you do, I will delete the comment. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel 😀🚂🌴. I hope you enjoy!
BNSF train at Goffs road (California)
I saw this BNSF auto rack on my way home from Laughlin, Nevada. So I chased it to the Goffs road crossing near Essex, California. There was construction on the rails and as I was getting ready to film the train, some M.O.W. (maintenance of way) equipment rolled past me. Hope you enjoy the video.

Railroad crossing tour with old signal (Katella Ave)
Do they run Monday Saturday Sunday Friday
Why they flip off the flasing light no gate
This is stupid. OC needs an LRT. This streetcar is painfully slow and useless. I hope they do not extend it. It will be worst, it will end up as the Houston LRT or Phoenix LRT. Slow and time consuming. I hope they a grade separated LRT topping 70 mph, and averaging 65 mph on some places. Maybe going at 40 mph in dense places.
What a video! I'm gutted because I visited Anaheim many years ago and never realised there was street running there....
It’s surprising how there’s no sign that saids “tracks out of service” and it’s been like that since 2017
Man too bad this wasn't in daylight conditions. Always love to see the Marines AAV-7 tracked Amphibious Assault Vehicles on rails. Nice video, always better to have a record of a move than none.
Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing!
My neighbor was the bnsf superintendent in Lafayette, La along the old sunset route. He brought me ride the BNSF geometry train from New Orleans to Lafayette several times. The last car was all glass facing rear with stadium style seating. It also had a horn & rear lights for backing across intersections. Good times.
Nice catch of BNSF 135 and BNSF 188 switching
How do i know when the train runs through?
Its me again. Sadly the crossing in the thumbnails bell and lights have been removed. The lights on the other crossing still remain
Hey its me again. When does LOA32 usually run? Because I live so close I would love to see this!
Great video!! Also who is the handsome guy walking around in your video?? He seems like an awesome and amazing person!! 😂😅
Hell yeah lol!!! That was a fun day bro! Glad you came along for the ride. Let's go again soon!
Nice video. Unfortunately the Kimberly Clark company has gone bye bye.
Thank you 😊for sharing!
Nice K3LP!
So those tracks that you recorded are retired but the ones next to them are active. I live near these tracks where I can hear the trains. And sure enough, These tracks aren't fully retired! Every once in a while ill hear a distant horn in my house. I know it's these tracks because I live nowhere near active tracks besides these ones. Most of it is retired but the main stretch of the track down the road is still used sometimes! Though it is sad and cool to see the remaining tracks of the old days.
Nice bro, you even caught MOW equipment!
Nothing beats night action, gotta love those lights!
Very good video
Nice footage man! Keep up the good work.
SP / PE LIVES ! SORRY UP WE AIN'T DEAD YET , SP DIRT TEST DONOT REMOVE ! MY THE BLOODY NOSE REIGN FOREVER ! GREAT VIDEO BRO ! SP / PE LIVES
Amazing catches of the train coming by and pass, i like it 5 stars, keep up the great work, Greetings from Portugal.
Kinda cheeky of NCTD to call the SPRINTER a light rail so they could get away with doing huge upgrades to em. Great video btw.
You must really like trains to chase it that far.... And I really like trains.
Lol. I love trains. I was driving home from Laughlin NV to Los Angeles and I saw this so I got ahead of it and pulled over lol.
@Dennis Owens Contrary to popular belief their are street trains in California....
Also, can you tell me the railroad crossing bells for McGaw avenue (crossing 1) (yes I’m late again)
Wowie
Who would put a freight train track running right through the middle of city streets like that? It's dangerous. Street cars and trolleys are one thing, but a freight train like this?
track might have been there before hand or they had no other choice.
Train was there first.
Quit your complaining.
I think this was Pacific Electric Railway 100 years ago
Hey RXR, it’s Wednesday. Do you have any plans on catching the La Mirada local?
Hey I just saw this. My bad. I'll plan on next Wednesday to go see it.
@@rxrfan866 oh, it’s okay!
Sheesh the gates weren't all the way down yet 😥
Lol... I thought the same thing. And he was moving at a good clip too!
Cool video! 👍🚂
Great video! Looks like they're gonna add another signal there, or replace both signals here.
Thanks! They are adding a third rail to this line. You can see the new signal foundation lol
Awesome video
Thanks dude
what time was it?
How long did u have to wait, or like what time was it?
This was around 10pm
@@rxrfan866 oh ok thanks!
Dude, imagine if you told BNSF that your car got stuck on the track here 💀
Are they still making this project?
Cool catch! What time did it roll through?
Thanks! She rolled in just after 9pm. Pretty early for this route.
@@rxrfan866 thanks!
Great catches! The local came pretty early today, I see.
I love it
Wonderful video
It's nice to see a street 🚆 in California.
From Google Earth timeline I saw several rail cars on the other side of Woodlawn Avenue towards RedHill Ave in 2011 and before, but after that year, there were no more railcars, except for those 2 railcars next to the Marconi Automotive Museum. So I assumed this railroad crossing was abandoned after 2011.
Box Cars? Do you know where they go? Thought only plastics were on this line
Great video and catches!
Great video
Thank you Evan! This went on for 20 minutes lol
@@rxrfan866 you are welcome Brian and ok lol
Awesome!!! Reminds me of NS- Columbus, Ohio. They had a signal malfunction a few weeks ago. It was heavily congested down there for hours.
Great footage man! Tunnel 5 is easily a favorite of mine on the mountain. If you know the trails back there well it’s actually possible to see a train on its entire journey from Caliente up to there, only 1.5 miles as the crow flies but the railroad takes nearly 8 miles to do it because the grades are so tough. Enjoyed the footage from the Edwards area too, don’t often see footage of the BNSF Mojave sub since it’s UP counterpart is way cooler being that it goes through both Tehachapi and Cajon, while the BNSF one is just no nonsense desert. Hope you can get back up there soon!
Repainting all the vehicles cammo again, hmmmmm. Where they headed?
Likely Camp Pendleton (Marines) or Coronado Naval Base in San Diego.
Can you railfan the Norwalk railroad?
One of the spots I prefer to record is the signal in 6846 Artesia Blvd
