Chicken Dinner for the Trail

- This dinner uses foil pie tins and a Blackstone flat top to prepare individual chicken dinners ready in about 20 minutes. These are perfect for popping into your freezer now and taking them with you on the trail. They can be re-warmed off grind in several convenient ways.

Love, love love! I fixed breakfast on it this morning and I could cook everything at the same time instead of staggering things in a single skillet. We just got the 22" tabletop version to take camping. Can't wait to see how it does.
Hi Pam and Jim love the videos but can’t get a freeze dryer in the U.K. under £5000. I wondered if you could do meals from dehydrated stuff for those of us who can’t get one or just can’t afford one? I have loads of dried veg and even bought dehydrated chicken and minced beef!
We do both and make videos on both. Most of our dehydrating videos are on RoseRed Homestead, but we will add some here.

No it was from a couple of frozen breasts from Costco. But this recipe could easily be used as part of the 12 meals.
You are bringing a microwave with you on the trip?
We are taking our toy hauler trailer that has a microwave. We won't be taking one when we are in our tent!
