The new civilian outfit for Aisha and the early Civilian outfits for Bloom and Tecna almost seem like call backs to their season 1 outfits and Tecna's season 3 outfit. Which adds to the claim that season 9 is a hard reboot and not a soft reboot.
It's been confirmed to be a hard reboot by the show runners.
The soft rebooting happened after Magic returned to Earth.
If Roxy and Daphne are coming back for this season, would love to see their new designs.

Sad news. This “new season” is not a continuation, it’s a new season for a remake version of the Winx series. Meaning Roxy is probably ain’t appearing again anytime soon for this one, though it leaves me to wonder if Daphne even exist for this new remake version of the Winx.

I think everyone is being too harsh with the "lack of skin" that the characters show, I never saw Winx as something Edgy, just more mature, and it wasn't because of how the characters dressed.
Seriously, them wearing long pants or skirts is more realistic, plus, in the first seasons, Tecna, Bloom and Musa always wore long pants, so I don't understand the problem. O Also, yeah Stella is the most stylish but she wasn't "risky", She made her own clothes that happened to match the fashion of the time the show launched.
Overall, Stella is the only one I'm fying about her clothes, other than that the designs are so decent and the animation looks fine. But I guess that's just my positive mind about reboots talking 🤷🏻♀️
I'm just more excited for this reboot, I hope it goes back to its roots with more mature topics and doesn't become super childish like the seasons after season 3.
You can also include Tecna and Aisha in the pants wearing crew when they first appeared. *had Aisha appeared in season 1 her pink hoodie/blue jeans outfit we're introduced to her in would have been used as the main one before going to her more familiar purple wave and green cargo skirt look.
There are also some alternate stock arts of Stella and Flora for season 1 that show them in pants too...and others where Tecna's top has a sleeve variant and Bloom, Musa and Stella have different styles of their shirts. Aisha also has an alternate colorscheme or two for her pink hoodie outfit...one in full pink/yellow and one in blue/yellow/pink (both to show what we already know...she's the go to Winx after Bloom or co-leads with her. Tecna being third, Stella and Musa alternate fourth but it's usually Stella since while Musa can lead most missions she prefers specific types, Flora rarely ever due to her preferring very specific types.)
I've also kind of thought that style-wise, it was supposed to reflect the aging from teen to adult about the covering of midriffs and pants to skirts since season 4 made them teachers/teacher's aids...and no teacher should be showing their midriff (it's not professional.)
Season 1: All girls wear pants until Stella and Flora decide to start wearing skirts. Stella tied her shirt one way.
Season 2: Musa and Aisha are generally the only ones still in pants...but Bloom and Tecna still wear their old pants outfits on occassion.
Season 3: Musa becomes the only one in pants this season.
Season 4: Tecna and Aisha go back to wearing pants so that Roxy doesn't look out of place. Midriffs generally stop being a thing except for Musa and Tecna...again probably so Roxy doesn't look out of place.
Season 5: Aside from Tecna and Aisha, midriffs are out, while pants are only on Aisha and Musa.
Season 6-8: Fully adult style teaching outfits in every collection of Stella's even when Roxy and Daphne accompany them on missions, it's all some type of dress or full shirt and mini-skirt...save for a few exceptions...though they really should have kept those vintage outfits from season 7, they looked nice.
yess but stella's outfit is pretty cute in my opinion...and she literally has pigtail in her original magix winxs transformation in season 1.
also another controversial opinion blooms civilian outfit is kinda too much.... with skirt(ugly frills) ,3/4th leggin,and tall boots kinda weird and not cohesive.

Like I don't see Stella as being somebody with those pigtails she's more of a person who wears kind of revealing fashion-forward fashion from Chanel or any fancy designer brand
I still prefer that Season 9 is continued to were the last Season left off just like the past Winx Club Season rather restart the whole series all over again in the reboot because I still would like to see the continued story of Icy's lost Kingdom with the Shaman Witch as the main Villain.

Maybe Roxy will return later on and is the unknown character people are talking about. That could also be why she isn't seen in the pictures. She might join them later on, just like Aisha did.

I'm mixed about the leaks:
1. Not a fan of Bloom and Stella's fairy forms, but I do love Bloom's ponytail.
2. I love the revised civilian looks for Aisha and Stella, but I'm not a fan of how Stella's colors are the same as her fairy form, and how Aisha's is a retooled OG look rather than a new one like everyone else.
3. I preferred the pink and green civilian look for Tecna. It feels more school appropriate and less plain in contrast to her new look.
Love Darcy's look, and I'm wondering if Damian will take on the villainous role in lieu of Riven. But a concern; assuming the wizards are still gonna be in this season, it might feel like too many villains.
They truly need to stop making 2D cartoons 3D, it sucks everything out of it. It's a disaster how it looks.
I loved Winx club, but the moment they went 3D I stopped watching.
I am sad they fucked up the real life adaptation though.
I do like they're putting Stella back in and yellow because she is the very of the sun and moon but I just don't like how it looks and like I hope they like give her a better outfit because the Stella we all know and love will never be caught dead wearing that because she'd be too embarrassed to ever wear that crap even if it costed like I don't know 1,000 she still wouldn't wear it because it just does not look good and I hope they give her a better outfit that fits Stella's character and season 1 through 3 Stella Moore

Aisha came first, it's her name in the original Italian. Layla was a dubbing change due to rights issues and other such things when the show first airred.
I loved Winx a lot but I was definitely more a W.I.T.C.H girly and when they changed Aisha name to Layla I was like who dis 😂😂 is she new but ya I stopped

The previous designs were too basic, they were just generic dresses with the colors of the characters, these new transformations give more personality in my opinion.

regardless of how the overall designs of the characters look, I seriously do love what they did with techna's wings. one of the more interesting things about winx was despite it being a magical world it wasn't just medieval era, they were just as modern, if not more so then us (which makes sense they've been around long as us just with the advantage of magic) and so they also had fairies for modern concepts like tech. techna was the fairy of technology and i liked how her first outfit reflected that, being more scifi and with digital wings instead of standard fairy ones, but as the series went/new transformations her outfits became standard fairy dress with nothing really reflecting she is the fairy of technology. so im glad they are trying to bring that aspect back around.
I stopped watching winx when season 8 can out because i really didn’t like the animation it threw me off so bad.
If they bring back a few old characters for this season would love to see characters such as Roxy, Daphne, Thoren, the Pixies (including Tune, Digit, Zing, Glim, Livy, and Jolly), the Selkies, Mirta, Lucy, Selina, Eldora, the Fairy Pets from Season 4, the Earth Fairies and the other Winx’ parents, etc, return.
4:15 my personal theory is that this girl is the girl from the Beauty Pageant episode from the OG Winx that they did dirty, and now they're finally giving her the flowers she deserves.

To Winx fans of the original series, who still wish for the series get a continuation with a Season 9 in order to resolve some unresolved plot lines help further the chances via signing and sharing out the “Rainbow, we Winx Club fans all over the world demand Season 9 instead of a reboot!” petition now.
These new designs for the Winx Club season 9 look interesting, a bit different but interesting and they give something of a Junior High vibe as they look younger in these designs, but I'm intrigued to see how they'll evolve in design as we go.
I'll admit I'm surprised it's toned down from the bold and magically fierce style Winx was known for as they were usually *go stylish and bold or go home* , so this is new.
The change in the aspect of how their magic works is also new as Bloom looks more clumsy which is unusual as while she did struggle a bit in adjusting to her magic, it still in a way came natural to her.
So it looks like there'll be more goofy outcomes when it comes to some magical application which means it will probably be more comedic in magic shenanigans from the girls maybe.
The magical element also looks like it will have a more textured detail to the magic's elemental manifested display than just magical sparkle and shine before seeing the magic elemental display in effect if that makes sense.
As for the characters we've seen so far, I have one question.........WHO IS DAMIEN??????
I've gone through every character in my Winx Club memory and I don't recall a Damien at all.
Also, I'm still a little confused as to why they're calling it *Winx Club season 9* because if I recall correctly, they mentioned something this season being a complete reboot of the series, so somewhat of a complete retelling of the story in some ways.
So this would make it not a continuation of the series but a new series with its own plot that is both familiar but unique in concept starting as a new 'season 1' of its own, so it doesn't really make sense to call it season 9 if it's not continuing the series' original plot and is somewhat starting from the beginning.

Bloom Amuses Wings Look The Same In The Original. However, The Girls Got New Wings Except Bloom And Musa I However blooms design looks very similar to the one that she had of Sirenix I thought we would have the redesign of magic winx In the reboot maybe musa and ribbon won't end up together 2:14
For Bloom I love the yellow look because it references her og self which I love, I hope that the transformations turn out prettier, and resemble their og selfs with the looks, Stella I feel like I would just change her look to more orange color like her original look, overall I’m very exited to see how they turn out
I love the fate saga but i did not connnect them as the same show cause then u wont like it i liked the storyline for its own. I love the orginal dhow first 3-4 seasons after that i got bit bored with it i did eventually watch it all

They look very different from other seasons their fairy forms are really different to magic Winx or it’s called something else I’m not sure
Personally, I don't like Aisha/Layla's look, because even though she is a strong, tomboyish person who loves sports and dancing, she is very girly/feminine (sexy).
They didn't make her look like layla.
For example, the bloom look (which suits her very well) would also suit Layla, because it's girly and sporty.
And the hair... oh my. I'm sorry (and not at all at the same time) but I hate it.
Yes, black hair, but not a mess of a head like that (for the transformation).
Because as said, Layla is a girlish character with certainly a tomboyish side, but she is still very feminine.
So for me, the hair is a cliché of the representation of a black female character, where because she is strong, we “remove” what makes her hyper “feminine” to make her a tough and visually characterful character.
This is something that I notice in most animated cartoons and I find it very low.
Let's take Bloom, who is also a characterful character and even slightly angry, we made her girly, sporty and pretty but layla... "zero" makeup, no super clean hair but automatically braided and dull, no little skirt and no soft color. So I call back, but Layla is pink and green, crop top, cargo skirt, pink lipstick, long eyelashes, pink-orange brown hair, ... Not this green on green, purple like they did.
She seems to go to the gym, while Layla is, I remind you again, someone very feminine who wears her outfit if she has to play sports.
Even Musa, (for the transformation) who in my eyes is much more tomboyish than Layla, is well made, so for me there is a lack of will.
But beware! I'm not saying this because of a question of race, color,... I say this out of pure objectivity.
I like Reeboots, but I don't like it when we tarnish a character to make them, in my opinion look like a basic character.
Like, it's Winx, not some ordinary thing.
